Guided Meditation - Three Centers Meditation

adyashanti.org - In this guided meditation, Adyashanti guides us to explore the three centers of our being: the head, the heart, and the gut. He describes the open, sky-like quality of awareness of the head, the intimate quality of the heart, and the dark, mysterious quality of awareness in the belly. By relaxing our attention, we can join with meditation and allow ourselves to experience it just as it is.
Video Excerpted from “Silent Retreat Vol. 75 ~ Meditations”:

Quotes from this Video:
“This open, sky-like awareness is simply something we notice, we don’t create it.”
“Meditation is something we allow to happen, it’s not something we make happen. We notice it and join with it.”
“Don’t be bothered if the heart feels in any way tight or closed. You are just an invitation where things get to be allowed to be the way they are.
“You may notice that there is a meditation that’s happening underneath your attempt to meditate. There’s a quiet that’s underneath the intention to notice the quiet.”

The space of the lower belly - mysterious and dark - was a space of frightening energy for me until you said “become” it. In that moment, I realized that this space is where we were conceived, and grew. Yes, as a fetus, it was dark but we were loved, safe and cared for. Very wonderful. Thank you for this. ❤️

Very nice. My one comment is that it would be nice to know what to expect for the silence at the end . Maybe say "we will be silent for 10 minutes". Otherwise I keep looking to see if the meditation is over.

Here is a tip to anyone meditating: While listening, close your eyes, imagine you're somewhere, try to imagine smells, try to imagine the sensation of touch. Try to imagine harmony. I am on a beach, sitting ,I can feel the sand on my feet and hands. I then slowly lie back and look at the clouds, very little clouds, it is sunny and blue. Try to imagine their shapes, which way they're being pushed by the wind. I smell moisture and salt. I see a couple seagulls. Try it, anywhere, it helps tremendously. And don't forget to bring yourself to a smile. Try to achieve tranquility each time. You cannot force meditation, you have to allow it to work. Give it time, and it will be the best part of your day. Hope you have an amazing day. :)

But surely you are the mind also? Otherwise you are separate to mind. And whatever helps anyone and brings them joy that moment. Who cares beach no beach ?
