Adyashanti Guided Meditation - The Art of Listening
adyashanti.org - During one of his silent meditation days, Adyashanti leads this guided meditation that focuses on stillness, listening, and using your breath as a guide. By sitting down for meditation, you are accepting the commitment to just be still. As you rest into your being and your body rests into stillness, your mind can adjust to this new environment and relax into its true nature. From this depth of stillness and deep listening, your natural state of awareness is recognized as always available. Adyashanti invites you into this state of deep availability to notice the already existing stillness that underscores every moment.

Quotes from this Video:
“Meditation is the art of listening.”
“If the body remains still, the mind will eventually follow.”
“Take a few minutes to attend to the breath. If there are any places that are holding tension, just notice it, and invite those places to relax.”
“The breath is an anchor point. Think of it like the ballast on the bottom of the boat. A place in you physically between heaven and earth.”
“Because the breath is always there, at any point during the day or any point during your meditation, you can bring attention back to your breath.”
“There is a state of already existing stillness. It’s not something you make happen, it’s simply something that you notice.”
“Your own natural awareness is already and always in a state of allowing everything to be as it is.”

I JUST CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT WE CAN GET EXTRACT OF YEARS OF PENANCE FROM THE GREAT GURU FREE OF COST. If we are living in the world where these gurus live and serve humanity, we are undoubtedly lucky. Thank you

I really appreciate Adyashanti. The best thing about him is that he leaves the burden upon us. He is not the moon.

Seema, totally agree. atleast one good thing about the modern World & technology
Adya is the real deal. Humane, sincere, and giving what he can to get us all to a better place. I’m not a devoted follower type, just a normal guy. He has kept his normality too, despite his inner growth.

Yeah. And what I most love about him is that he knows he is not a guru. No tradition. Maybe a little zen.

Idk, I went to one of his retreats and he belittled an obviously mentally ill guy, other than that he was cool lol
~ a short talk at the beginning before the meditation starts @8:50 Adyashanti: "...It can get really easy, but it gets easy if you get easy; and it gets simple when you get simple. And outside of that, there is no secret...It's an opportunity to really get easy and to get simple. So for the modern mind, that's a kind of act of trust, or at least curiosity to see what happens when you stop trying to make something happen. So the whole way I frame meditation is it's really a way to allow your true nature to express itself. That's really all it is. So it's not a means to an end..."
Surviving and recovering from cancer was tremendously helped by daily plugging into the stillness you are pointing to. I’m grateful and humble to part of satsang. Thanks for sharing mate

Good day to you....I was curious about the exact methods you used to survive cancer. 🙏❤
Wow this guy is really awake. Thank you thank you thank you ✨🙏
Omg I kinda lost track.of time there. Felt like 15mins but instead it was over 30. Amazing. Thank you. Thank god for the Internet. Its amazing how we can all access these brilliant ppl from the comfort of our own homes and from all over the world. I suppose this would have been a real task years ago.
I really like this ‘listen to it as it you’re listening to the rain outside’ because my intention is to connect with my home self and be there for the duration of this meditation while being guided by someone else who is on the same page. The reason for doing the meditation is to put everything else aside for a bit and spend some much needed time at home, in peace. and it just happens to be raining outside so I’ll listen to it. I may also do things while I listen to the rain, see how that goes. Things like drinking tea or having a bath. Maybe. There’s nothing quite like just listening to the rain though! We shall see..
Thank you for thse meditations, Adya. Beautiful way to slow down, breathe, and relax. Just beautiful.... thank you!
Thanks.

It is not slowed down, it is how he speaks when leading a meditation session,
.
How ironic and absurd it is he rambles on and on in the beginning, giving us all these thoughts and framework around what is no-thought and no-frame.
