Guide How to Break In Keyboard Switches best way

If you have a question or would like to talk with me, feel free to check my Instagram: / kriauci0niukas or leave a comment.
In this video, I wanted to show you how to break in NK cream switches since they are notorious for being scratchy out of the factory. I think it's the most consistent and fastest way unless you're going to automate it. A switch tester that supports the number of switches that you need for the full keyboard would work the best but I've used a cheap lubing station. If you're wondering if it's worth it I HUGELY RECOMMEND breaking in Novelkeys Creams because the difference is massive.
Please share the video if you know somebody that might benefit from it.

this was looked like a dumb thing to do, but I probably wrong. I'll try this method in near future, as my cherry mx blacks are quite scratchy even after lubed, so yeah thanks for the tip

Yeah.... I would much rather use the switches for a bit, that way is still get some use out of them. I know it won't be as even, but if I just keep the switches i used for alphas separately, it should be good enough.

Boba U4T’s are tactile. So they feel a lot different. But I prefer linears, so NK Creams feel better to me

This would take like an hour for every 30 switches if you kept at the 100 switches per 30 seconds right?

@@kriaucioniukas ya i figured doing it periodically through a day. Those 30 switches would be fine. Than move on to next. May take a week but at the end of the week they should all be broken in, smoother.

Hello! Never tried a lube station myself, so I was wondering which lube station you used in the video? Will any lube station work for breaking in switches? because I didn't want to pick a lube station where the switches can easily fall off if that makes sense

From my expierence anything that looks similar to mine should work fine. Switch tester is probably the correct term to call it since most lube stations have other parts in them. I ordered it from china long time ago, it was about 15$. But now I would recommend going with bigger one since it would take even less time if you could put 50 or maybe even 90 switches at once
