it’s not recommended, it doesn’t reach all of the parts of the switch, and it might just turn your keyboard into a clicky brick.

@@bigorange1997 Depending on the lube and housing material, the excess amounts will be pushed away from the points of contact over extended use. Some lubes/materials allow for this to happen more quickly than others, but I would consider using them for a week or two before you throw in the towel and attempt lube correction.

its pretty rare for "underlube to be an issue, as for overlube it generally gets sorted out over time as you use the switch

Damn no way I can measure the ammount of lube by eye. I just stick my brush in the lube, brush it against the container until most of it is off and then start lubing.

I love coming back to this video for a refresher. Like, I don’t know where I got it from (probly hipyo) but super lube for springs. Looking like I’ll be running a small experiment on my switches before settling on what I want to use. Most I’ve learned is though is that super lube is thinner and won’t alter sound profiles or feel too much…. I think. This is gonna be so much fun!

Oh Yeah! Going back and forth between "Technical and "Mechanical" with consistent lubing. I accidentally Came to this video while looking for some " Glarses". Your instructions and the song set the perfect mood. It took me a few hours and consistent washing of my hands but I believe I finally Came to fruition. Feeling like the happy "Typer" now! Royal Kludge to Royal Fudge. Smooth Finish Tahea. Lube on!
