Loved the screenshot of Wilba's comment. I have been getting all the reminders / email updates after purchasing a rama kara seq 2 (going on 2 years now). Was good to see Wilba's take on the situation / what legal action was actually being taken over. Definitely will never be purchasing another Rama product.

@@itsjawdan I think there really is nothing we can do besides hope that the products get shipped by at least 2095 :) Also just never buy from the company again to make sure you don't end up in this situation again... much better companies such as Mode / QK / Omnitype etc etc etc

My first "real" purchases in this hobby were from mykeyboardeu and Rama in 2021 and beginning 2022. Still waiting for my GMK set and the m60😢

DMV meet was my first meet and I can't wait for more in the future! Thanks Taeha brudda

So I just found out about your monthly news segments and I had a GMK Bingsu preorder/group buy for Project Keyboard, I found out they went out of business a few months ago and asked my bank for my money back for fraud and they didn't do anything, is there anything else I can do now or did I just lose $180?

Suggestion: Hibi to be renamed to "Kate Was The One That Worked".

I should submit a case to PayPal and get my money back for the m65c that I will probably never receive since it's already been 2 and half years

I would love to see this hobby move away from the group buy model to a traditional In-stock (resale) model. Thank you for the updates, we all appreciate them.

Hobby definitely is trending towards in-stock but group buys will still be a thing!

Really hope mykeyboardeu doesn’t go under. I have a keyboard GB I joined with them and am hoping to get it in the near future. Seems like they’ve been working hard to turn things around and make a comeback, and I’m really hopeful and optimistic that they will.

Seems like all of their employees have been sick since Christmas. At least it looks like that according to the non existing staff messages on their discord server except that one small update. Highly doubt we will get anything

@@wheeeexe7156 I had heard they were paying the necessary bills to date for the Werk-One keyboard to be produced and delivered, and were maybe one final payment away from what they owed to the factory for it to be completed. Hopefully it will get done…..

My very first (well expected) custom keyboard, now more than 2 yrs and nothing at all. 😅😅

It should be the top post on r/MK in the last week. Unfortunately OP didn't put "Epomaker" anywhere in the title or post so it doesn't come up in Reddit search results if you use it as a keyword. The mod u/Cobertt made the following comment on it: "I mean there is a reason this sub doesn’t allow for Epomaker to post or their products be linked to. You are not the first person they have left hanging like this, and won’t be the last. Their boards are riddled with issues. I was disappointed to see them sponsoring LTT videos recently. I have raised concern with LTT’s team about the recent promotion of their product. We know that LTT has a wide reach of PC users and I feel many unknowing people could potentially be buying into a brand that does not care about their products or customers."

dang the Rama drama is sad, I haven’t really had any personal interest in their products, but to hear what Wilba laid out is such a bummer, I hope Kate does super well in spite of having to go through the legal fight, sounds like she’s a real one

I have been out of the loop for a while, and I did not realize how lucky I got with GMK Sumi. I got my kit and mats from Project Keyboard in late 2022. It looks like stuff started going tits up shortly after that. It's a shame because Sumi is my favorite set I have, and been on my board since.

The Korean meet-up that happened recently was huge. Hopefully, the Asian communities can keep this hobby afloat while Western communities recover. More affordable customs, primarily from China, also helps bringing new comers to the hobby. Especially in middle-income countries like mine.

In my experience they have been great, although I'm sure some sets have had issues like with any manufacturer. They were just one of the big names with keycaps and they produced some really great sets.

FYI, even tho Rama is absolute trash and everyone is right to avoid them at all costs, it does seem that the Seq2 orders are being fulfilled and shipped right now, seems they're starting with Aus order first and then working on international orders

Seems like Novelkeys picked it up, not sure if it’s past the window, but I want to say they might have offered a discount for those in the original GB. I was not in the original GB, but I think the sets are shipping to Novelkeys now.

Damn, SP quitting now too? Wonder if they'll let another MFR have the rights to their SA/DSA processes (and whatever other profiles SP made). Been thinking a while of getting at least ONE SA set and giving it a shot. EDIT: I can help you at least a bit with some of those German pronunciations if need be :D

I ordered a Kara seq-2 and apparently there have been people in Australia receiving theirs so hopefully you can also get what you paid for.

These videos are great, know you don't want to be a drama channel and are at risk with videos like these because of what is happening currently.
