As the hit comedy series continues in its third season, family dynamics hold court. In a two-part episode, Jason's ability to look at the bright side turns a family vacation in Maui - a vacation that would be called a disaster by anyone else's standards - into a positive experience. Back on Long Island, when their house is burglarized, the Seavers realize their sense of security is worth more than any stolen possession. How will they recover that? Plus, Maggie gets hired at a TV station, Mike runs for student body president of his high school and, when Carol turns in an exam that she bluffed her way through because she didn't study and gets an A+ on it, she has serious doubts about the importance of grades and education. What will Mike say to quell her concerns? Of course, these stories and more are executed with humor and heart as Growing Pains continues to delight viewers.

As a guy who was born and raised up in China, Growing pain was extremely well regarded American sitcom as it was first time introduced and broadcasted in the early and mid 1990s on almost all local tv network nationwide in china at different time of the day. The show is one of the best memories among many Chinese millennials and I am one of them:)

I watched this when it came out in 1985 here in America. I had a huge crush on Kirk Cameron. His posters were on my bedroom walls, and in my junior high locker. I was obsessed with him.

Same in germany. It actually started here when it was already over in the US. Good memories and my crush on kirk was bigger than my crush on leo 😂

I remember my sister was 15 when this episode aired and she said "That guy is actually cuter than Kirk Cameron" LOL
Tracey was so lovable.
Brad Pitt and Leonardo Caprio came from growing pains shows you how good the cast was because they probably help them with their acting 🎭 careers

Brad Pitt played two different characters on Growing Pains. This role and he played a rocker Ben was a fan of who was rude to Ben when they met.
Brad Pitt is good looking. I didn't know Brad was in growing pains

Yeah, not gonna lie he's a good looking guy. He looked his best when he did Troy. Chris Evans is another really good looking guy too. Wish I could be reincarnated as one of them in my next life so I don't end up still being single with no kids in my mid 40s.
