This incident was directly responsible for the Apollo 1 tragedy. After this they made all hatches plug doors that opened inward. If NASA had left it alone those astronauts could have just blown the hatch and gotten out of there

I selected the book to read, then became stuck page 239. After processing the double standard today, it made the chapter easier to endure. Before year 2000 commenced we had athletes had r8'd their peers then proceeded with their scholarships to universities of prestige with court rooms favoring the athletes with a mere slap on the wrist while many had truly believed that those athletes deserved to have their scholarships taken from them. After seeing some of the sexual content coming from universities and colleges, it is likely that some of the content could have been curbed if we would had. I'm neither here or there on opinion, just adding the dash of ingredients as we proceed. In the years to come, I had overheard situations where men had become r8'd by women to which they were greatly ignored else 'rewarded' with a position of ignoring or degradation without understanding the emotional harm that comes along with being disempowered and stolen from. Later on after hearing some important information down the grapevine about one of our own, I overheard favoritism along with judgement on a topic that the female judge had zero knowledge of support to proclaim one way or another as she obviously didn't take time to study the matter. Then later on the female had went onwards to have two more men reprimanded in the court room which reminds me of mommy choosing sides for the oldest child not knowing she was rewarding bad behavior. Then we roll into this chapter that hits home where the CEO had basically adopted a daughter who became a favorite and could do no wrong in a story about role reversals without any way to have the court backing. The comments in the elevator were hard to endure, but once we examine what men tell other men about r8p3, then it's easier to understand that this is just an wound being open for full exposure about how men treat other men, favoritism of the courts, and the downturn of society where everyone has become so dependent in business that they will put up with being forced into sexual favor just to keep their jobs else try to find another job with likely the same reoccurring theme. What I do find refreshing though is that there were many comments and cultural videos about men taking advantage of women, now we're seeing it in reverse, and it's still the same problem. Women culturally in my generation were told we were equal, set forth to be equal in the work force in hopes to avoid abusive relationships then find themselves in an abusive relationship with their workplaces. When reviewing my own work history well after having my children I see illegalities like being personally selected to stay after work, not being properly trained or given the actual expected resources for the job, spread too thin, physically touched my a manager in an unfriendly way, then after rejoining the work force I see favoritism, drama leading to the loss of jobs, poor business practices, harassment; this isn't the society I desire my children to grow up in yet we all want our children to succeed to have better jobs, independence, happiness, to be treated well, to have stability, to feel empowered, to be nice and to be fair... and all I see is a world that will destroy them as I didn't raised them to be too nice, too docile, too caring, too considerate while not seeing that the rest of the world had to abandoned their own children just to pay the bills but either way we needed to see the differences. ... ...

They should be sued for false advertising. This is a) no “ordinary man” and b) a very, very dark film, which isn’t hinted at in this preview. Instead, it comes across as a revenge fantasy romp. It ain’t.

It is amazing for me to find my conversation recounted almost word for word. He was the only guy I did stupid things like show up out of the blue for. I did all manner of daft things to be around him, except the one stupid thing I should have done, broken off my engagement and stayed with him.

This was our conversation almost word for word. I had to go and see him. The boat ride was at Canoe Lake, Portsmouth. Our story did not have a happy ending. I ended up married to the wrong man. Still we managed to have amazing children. Sometimes you can perhaps just love each other too much to see sense.

Me? Born and bred Oklahoman. I just recently watched this film on antenna tv. Ya know......these old westerns were nothing more than entertainment. Not to be analyzed under a microscope. Just watch and enjoy. Some say miscast actors....nah, just an old movie to enjoy. I say, pretty good. Probably much better in a theater in 1939. Just let it be what it is.

This movie is one of my favorites of all time. Coming out during my hugely formative late teen years, though what I was formed in to remains speculative, the aura of the cinematography, the haunting Leonard Cohen music, and the ultimate “tragedy" just wrap me in its spell. It IS spellbinding.
