Loads of live a-ha performances on you tube. Have seen them live many times, they are coming to the USA later in the year.

Morten has a wonderful voice. It might not be as powerful as when he was young, but he still has it. In Europe and South America he is well known for his beautiful falsetto. I recommend you listen to some later songs from a-ha. They officially broke up in 2010, but later came together again, and are still touring (actually they are playing in Los Angeles and New York this week). For the brake up they came up with the song 'Butterfly, butterfly', in which they give an metaphoric explanation of the brake up. I will recommend this song. For the video they brought in Steve Barron, the director of the video for 'Take on me', and some of their other early videos. In this video he uses clips from different videos from their career. I also will recommend 'Foot of the mountain' from 2009 and the live performance of 'Summer moved on' from Vallhall, Oslo 2001, where Morten holds the record of the longest note in a European top 40 hit, with 20,2 seconds. kzread.info/dash/bejne/d4idldmIhMe6fso.html

I wasn't even born when the original came out but I still just love the both versions ... P.S. the unplugged one more actually 😅

He can still reach his high notes and lower. They lowered the key to change the mood of the song. That's why he didn't go up as high. It was meant to be quiet.

please react to A-HA song Summer Moved On. It is in the guinness book of records for the longest note held in a song. i think it was 20 seconds long. Thankyou. An A-HA fan from Scotland. I’m 53 now and i’ve been following A-HA since the take on me days in 1985. In my honest opinion A-HA are very underrated and under appreciated with a huge back catalogue and the best bit about A-HA is none of their songs sound the same each one is different from the last one. Take care 😘🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇳🇴❤️
