A-Ha is a Norwegian synth-pop band formed in Oslo in 1982. They have so many beautiful songs that is difficult to choose one, but you can try "Hunting high and low" and "Scoundrel days". The band were listed in the Guinness World Records book for having the biggest-paying rock concert attendance; they drew an audience of 198,000 at Maracanã Stadium during Rock in Rio festival in 1992. Thanks for your videos I love your channel, greetings from Spain.

I try not to watch The Sun Always Shines On TV... I hate a sad ending.
Originally from Oslo Norway, Morten (vocals) Magne (keyboards) & Paul (spelled Pål in Norwegian, is the guitarist) released this track 35 years ago and if Covid hadn’t hit us I would be off to see them in a couple of weeks doing the entire Hunting High and Low album with a full orchestra for the final time ..... love love love this band. You need to react to the following: Hunting High and Low Manhattan Skyline Cry Wolf Lifelines Scoundrel Days Velvet Stay On These Roads Touchy Summer Moved On Also the unplugged version of Take on Me is just magical !!! Some of the nicest guys I’ve met too.. always chatty and friendly that also allows me to practise my Norwegian too ... heheeheh x
Don't forget that when this video came out in 1980-whenever that no one had ever seen anything like that; with the mixing of comic/cartoon and real life footage. Who Framed Roger Rabbit was probably the next similar thing to be released, several years later.
Bringing back the 80’ New Wave music,Sweet 😎🎼👍🏼
You need to watch the video back again to realise just how groundbreaking it was for the time. The group are from Norway and had quite a few hits. Morten Harket the lead singer still has a great voice and is a judge on Norways version of 'The Voice' another good one is 'The Sun Always Shines on TV'
One of the pop lynchpins of the 1980s. My brother actually bought me the album for my 13th birthday (which I had to, you know, hide, because it was considered a bit 'girly') and I was pretty obsessed with it. Morten Harket's infamous high-register on this was beyond me even then - and I think he can still do it...
Take On Me is one of the best videos ever. They shot the video in live action and then had two artists do over 10,000 sketches of frames from the video. It took them three months working full time just to do the drawings.
hahahaha, I love how you're trying to sing the high notes. we've all been there. we've all failed. we've still all tried again. :D
Oh WOW! Such an awesome song and this video was a staple in Mtv's heyday! Trust me! ALL us girls loved this guy! 😁😍💋
80s ' the age of MTV and music videos. Hanging with friends and skipping class to watch vidieos. I have some fond memories of that decade.

Amazing band, Morten had and still has a set of vocal cords on him! "Manhatten Skyline" is my favourite from them, well worth checking out, as is "Hunting high and low", "Crying in the rain" "Cry wolf" and "Stay on these roads" - they have so many great tunes!
U going back in time love how u are discovering these classics.. don't worry about what u gotta do too the vids to get them unblocked, all good we understand & are with you on this ride to 1million subs
This was one of those early day ones where the video was really good and the song was great. They got signed on the spot after record company executives heard them once. The singer couldn’t handle the instant pressure of instant, and I mean HUGE success. So that was that. I think They’re Norwegian.
I can’t believe I’m at work and have to wait until I get home to watch this!!!😭
He had a good range man! Easy on the eye too. Loving your song choices at the moment from a fellow shoulder dancer! When them shoulders go you know I’m gonna blow!! 💃💃
