    I agree there is no Grand Funk Railroad without The master himself Mark Farner. Don and Mel need to grow up and give there fans the real deal.

    I saw mark live when he found jesus,was still a great show,again after he came back to Cleveland, he was back ,but left the change out ,he was still grand funk without mel and don,one of my favorite live shows at the agora ballroom ,still a great performance, bring back mark,amen

    I saw GFR twice in 1971 and twice in 1997.Soooooo GOOD all 4 times. I was a 45 year old 'groupie' when I patted Don on the shoulder as he walked by me on the way to the stage.

    I think it when the bass player and drummer screwed over the guy that wrote the songs and was the lead singer and played lead guitar - that I said "nope". I moved on.

    @@rickoursler2583 Checkout the stories rick,don did some vile stuff and mel went along with it,treated mark badly.Mark wrote 90 odd % of material then they tried to stop him frm playing it.its well documented! YES don was a great drummer but has not moved foreward musically,he was no song writer nor was mel.The beating heart and soul of the band was the indomitable MARK FARNER!

    To think l play drums til this day because of this guy 40yrs ago / and now l see him and l think wow what a low down , selfish , unconscious, con artist he has become and if you look closely it shows on his old face = the look of '' injustice ''. The saddest thing is this man will die with this injustice to the fans and Mark Farner while holding a grudge.

    I like Don's playing and respect that he had a unique style. But this is basically a repeat of his solo from the first album 50 years ago. Not quite as good though. And long drum solos are simply out of vogue. But Don has to make it out like people go to see Grand Funk to see HIM. Nope. He was a part of a great musical legacy and this is not only a faint shadow of what once was, it's a reminder that he sold out a friend for a little more money and that makes him a piece a crap. What a shame.

    Hey haters I am a 70 year old singing drummer. Don Brewer one bad ass drummer, wrote and sang GFR"s only number 1 hit "we're an American band. Mark and Don split the band so more power to Don. Without Don the band was not the same but has rights to the name an songs. Farmer has his own band so what! It's the music that counts.

Mark let him take the credit. Mark wrote it. Don is an adequate drummer but still a jerk. Sorry to have to break that truth to you. ✌️

    Really - pretty damn good rendition of TNUC. Are you upset he didn't play part of it with his head? He sure as hell didn't slow down for a nearly 70 year old drummer. Name another guy at 70 who is pulling this off live.
