Their hemoglobin levels are far higher than humans, which makes them way stronger . With higher levels of hemoglobin led to higher levels of red blood cells, which only cause high levels of oxygen, which is one of the main building blocks of muscle and strength. The higher your hemoglobin, the more super that you will become because the body is now able to carry more oxygen . ATP 🙃

I watched two silver backs having a fight on a documentary years back . One of the huge males grabbed the leg of the other and threw him like he was a doll. Now guessing they were 400 pounds each . And it was an one arm throw . Thats pure power

Gorilla is not built to deadlift. Thats a human lift. We are built to stand upright so loading that movement pattern is suitable. A gorilla can hardly stand upright normally. Adding thousands of pounds to that movement pattern for a gorilla isnt happening

It's said people with shorter legs and longer arms are more suited for the deadlift, so while you're right it would be awkward for them, the actual range of motion to 'lock out' would be really short compared to a human. In theory I think if we could actually convince a gorilla to want to deadlift and somehow teach it optimal form it could still probably throw up some big numbers. The other thing to consider here is that these alpha male gorilla's are way stronger than humans without any real training or weight lifting, simply moving them selves around. I'm sure if there was a way to put a human brain in a gorilla safely we'd probably get some freak-beast bodybuilder's wanting the opportunity to test the limits of training with gorilla potential lol.
