@@ricksiddiqui8354 If people have white carpet, there's no way the dog's coming indoors without its feet being wiped 1st. Also, I know a lot of people who wipe their dog's feet. The ones who don't usually are the ones also not bothered by people wearing their shoes in the house (so long as the shoes aren't covered with mud, of course).

Maybe in your culture it's weird, but where I live, my mother would smack me if I don't take off my shoes before I come into the house. Everyone does this. Who knows what you step on outside. Maybe you went to a public restroom, then you came back home and walk around the house spreading that public restroom germs all over your house. Eeeeww...

My front door has two door mats--a spiky one outside to get any sand or salt pieces off, and than a dry, soft one inside to wipe off any remaining wetness from being outside in the rain or snow. It's just a matter of wiping your shoes thoroughly before stepping on the floor. It's not like I go inside and track sand/salt around.

I'd be first in line to watch any new sitcom he's in.

Okay, soooo...first time seeing this guy! Very funny. Loved his physical humor and the way he used his body as props in his jokes! Also, loved the whole NY/NJ accent. Hilarious!

I appreciated how it was normal in S. Korea for everyone to take off shoes that had been in public bathrooms, train stations etc before entering a home. Clean socks or house shoes are much better.

My x-girlfriend is Korean. When we would go to visit her parents, we’d remove our shoes. It wasn’t a big deal. Their carpet was immaculate.

I don’t want to smell anybody’s smelly sweaty socks and feet in my house. Keep your shoes on. That’s what they’re there for. There’s much more smelly bacteria inside your shoes and socks than there are outside on the non porous rubber souls.

This was 100% my Serbian grandma and her amazing cooking coming out of the basement. Never went hungry for even a second at that house.

In Canada, I’ve never been to a house where one keeps their shoes on! For us, it’s like... you’ve walked outside, god knows what you’ve stepped in or how dirty your shoes are... so take them off. It doesn’t make sense. All your floors you would have to sanitize again.
