Glowe Voltage - Series 3 Testing - 700 amps of output?? Yep.

Ғылым және технология

The Series 3 is officially here. This battery is SMALL (under 8 pounds!) and we put it to the test by pulling over 700 amps. At 20 amp hours and small enough to fit into your hand, we don't think this can be beat.
Get yours here: glowevoltage.com/shop/batteri...
Limited Time: Save over $100 (using code 5off) the retail cost of a Series 3! We have some Series 3 batteries that we have listed as "B-stock" due to a cosmetic flaw. During production, the battery lids lifted a little bit after the adhesive was applied, so you can see a small seam of white adhesive around the seal. These are functionally flawless, so if you're on the fence? You can get one of these for UNDER $400 for a limited time here:

Tony, Once you get your battery let us know how it does! This should be way more than enough to handle your 5k. 💯

@Tony could you give me a review on your Glowe Voltage S3 battery? How is it doing for you? Are you powering any other amplifiers off of it besides your 5k? I just found out about Glowe Voltage & I am thinking about ordering one for now to see how it does. Right now I'm checking out the differences between the 3 series batteries they offer. From my understanding so far the s3 is most powerful BUT it has the least ah of any series batteries offered by Glowe Industries?? I feel like I am misreading something...? @GloweIndustries would you please lmk if I read something wrong... I am wanting to run two 5k rms Korean board half bridge amplifiers along with two 250.4 four channel amplifiers... I have a 350 amp alt already installed on my vehicle. Would one Glowe Voltage S3 battery be sufficient? Or would you recommend I go with the S1 or S2 instead of the S3 & will one of any of these batteries be sufficient or do you recommend more than one? So far I have only noticed you mention full bridge amps on music. Have you tested the batteries on Korean half bridge amplifiers? And have they been tested at Sinusoidal consumption levels for those competing or the ones who always tend to keep their volume at full tilt or atleast close to full tilt? PS sorry for long comment.

@christiannieto1353 unless I misunderstood your comment the op is going to be putting out much more than 4k or 5k after rise... plus he did mention he's wiring at half ohm on each amp. Like I said maybe I misread your comment. And I do know what "after rise" means, I'm familiar with impedance. I just do not see his system being that inefficient that a pair of 10k DC Audio Korean half bridge amps each at .5 ohm only clamping 4k or 5k rms... I'm guessing I missed something, if so don't beat me with the Cain! Just educate me please, I learn more & become far more productive that way. And yes I'm a grown man who does not care to admit he's still learning everyday in life.

Hello Glowe Industries I'm just now finding out about your company & your Glowe Voltage s1, s2 & s3 batteries. Would love your recommendation on which battery & how many you would recommend if I want to power two 5k Korean half bridge amplifiers & two 250.4 four channel amplifiers? FYI I do have the Big3 done, a 350 amp h/o alt, and all wiring is OFC. I will be ordering the very moment I'm able, this month is one of those unpleasant months where my bi annual insurance policy, tag renewal, on top of regular bills has to be paid. But if I find a way to to order this month, I will. I need power!

Good evening! Two 5k korean half bridge - are you running these at 1 ohm? What amp specifically? A good rule of thumb to calculate amperage (at least ballpark) requirements if there is an amp dyno available, is to take the maximum amperage pulled and divide that by half. For example, a Taramps Smart 8 does over 8k on a dyno - but for most real world situations the max amperage you're going to see being used is about 440. Taramps even specifies this (as well as some other amplifier manufacturers such as Sound Digital) as a separate value. "Max consumption on a sine wave" vs "Max consumption on music". Two 5k if running at 1 ohm will likely be pulling a bit over 500 amps of current. If you're running them at .5 you're going to be getting pretty close to 1,000 amps. If you're running at .5, I'd recommend a pair of the Series 3. At 1 ohm? A single S3 + your HO alternator should keep things easily over 12v.
