Every time you drop a new video I have to go outside and double check my whole build. First it was the video about running all the wires to a main distroblock, batteries in parallel, etc.. Now this got me tearing apart my fuse holder checking resistance. 😂😂 Thank you for your helpful videos.

Please let us know if you see noticeable gains @ the amplifier after swapping them out?? What amplifier are you using/what size fuses?? The higher the current the larger and more prominent the gains should be, for sure.

I used to be on the same boat. Thought a fuse was a fuse and called it a day.. It’s always the things you least expect chipping away at overall output. 💯

Interesting, how such a small detail in a build can have such a significant impact, thankfully I’ve always used SHCA ceramic (I’ve not bought fuses since you guys dropped them) but I’ll let you guess what I’ll be using going forward! Appreciate the knowledge!!! I have switched to your lugs already great value!!!

Cant wait to see the next one! I think this be a big problem in my build having a few cheep "high amp fuses

Credit where it’s due. They’re the only fuses that we managed to test in the same ballpark. Their wire also tests among the best.

Im running stock alt and series 1 with jp23 and two 4chs and im getting crazy voltage drop. Ill chnage the fuses to you guys one. But also i have a uni body car where would be the best place to run a ground cause rn i have them on bolt in the trunk.

Can you reach out to our fb page? Thats far from expected behavior and want to get it figured out. If it turns out to be something with the battery you’re definitely covered under warranty. Also, before we go any further down the rabbit hole.. I’ve come to learn from many, many hours of troubleshooting that JP knobs are not to be trusted!! Is that where you’re seeing voltage drop? If so, can you use a dmm at the terminals of the battery? This has been the biggest takeaway in multiple situations eerily similar to what you described. JP knob will show very poor voltage whereas testing the voltage with a diff meter and it’s barely dropping at all.

Yes, verify with a dmm. The built-in voltmeters on bass knobs are not built to be super accurate. I think JP put an adjustment screw on the back of the bass knob so that you could adjust the voltage to what it is at the battery.

@@TheBoofGod I hope mine get shipped soon. I have a show this weekend and being I’ve upgraded my amp I need bigger fuses since I’ve always ran smaller than rated for amp and wire. I ordered last week in hopes they would be here before this weekend but it’s not looking promising.

Nooooo I have those exact cheap Amazon fuses 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ Time to replace those.....sadly it's a bitch to replace.
