i have a question. Im trying to play elden ring but it says api-ms-win-core-libraryloader-l1-2-1.dll is missing and when i reinstall it and i try to put it in syswow64 and system 32 its says acces denied but i have Administrator Permission

My options under computer management does not include the option you're referring to. How do I fix that?

but in this solution, you granted full permission for the user to do anything in the pc, if there is another way to give him admin permission for regedit only!

What does modify mean? Modify can refer to changing user account permissions for file and folder access, thus giving or taking away the ability of a user to view and make changes to files or folders. Modifying permissions can only be done by the administrator for a computer (or administrator account) or the owner of a file or folder I looked at that article and i wanna know rdoes that mean other people can access my pc data or..i just wanna know

if you are giving permission to a user admin rights, then you or other who is accessing the PC.. they can modify you file also they can delete... if it is a simple user no administrative rights then, they cannot delete the files or modify it.

is you account is a administrative account if yes then use your system password... if not then check administrator is enable or not.

press windows +r --run will open... then type there mmc.exe.. then click on file and click on add and remove snap...click on device manager and select add ....also you can add others options also.... then click ok ... then press ctrl+s .... then save the mmc file somewhere so next time if you click on that file it open the device manager.....

You need to reinstall your windows OS... it is not about your mother board password.

You should be login in your administrator account...

And again and again I can't just call MS about issues...I have to spend hours on the net googling and youtube watching to get answers...god I freaking hate MS. I did the most recent update and now it has locked me out of a folder where I store my backups with acronis. It says I need system permission??? Who the hell is system?? It's my computer? correct? My windows?? Correct?? So, who is system?? Do I have to get some kind of special MS agent to come over and type in a password or something?? I freaking HATE MS!! I have a linux system in my living room, it's an older computer, won't play my recent games. But, man, I'll tell you it never f***s up like this. NEVER!! Thanks for the vid and reading my rant...

Please help me😭😭😭 nothing at all works for me, I’ve tried the command prompt(net user Administrator /active:yes), tried local users and it says access denied, I’ve tried going to my user account control to log back in to my administrator account and it still doesn’t work, I’ve tried restarting and signing out, nothing at all works, I even tried running as administrator for powershell, still doesn’t work. Please help me I’m frustrated and I have an upcoming exam, I can’t even do anything with my laptop😭😭😭🙏🏾

Same for me it doesn’t show up. But if you go to the folder where you want full access then click properties then go to the security tab. Click edit then type your username (it’s ur pc account name that looks like a email.) then Check names to make sure it’s right then tick the permissions then apply.
