Iam late to the party but I got to say my humble "THANK U VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!!" after watching your vid n bout Less than hour I got the sigil. I thank u again. Hats off to u. One of the key explanation u stated here which all other vids fail to do so, when the birds r homing in on u, u can fool the 2nd one to follow the 1st bird coming at u. Because of wat u said. I was able to fig out wat to do next during the race.

Without the 200 Lightning dodges and this Chocobo Catcher i miss out on 2 important Celestial weapons. I feel the Sin fights being like attending the race track on a Donkey. Wish they had another way of getting those Sigils.

I've done it, thanks to you. I've seen 5 video's but this is the only one that makes sense out of how the birds spawn. Basically if that fucking trainer is behind you at the end you can expect 4 birds to spawn, otherwise even the end is actually manageable. Last run was 36.7 with 14 balloons and 1 bird hit. Saved it and gonna have a breather now.

Gotta love how the most psychotic game takes place in a place called the CALM lands 😂

Question: how do u steer the Chocobo . Im using D-pad but my Choco is bouncing to left and Right avoiding the balloons. Avoiding the birds is 1 but picking up balloons is sooo hard! How do u tap the D-pad?????? This is looking so ridiculously more easy than in my game!!

Not sure if the controller type helps but (since I'm on PC) I'm using an Xbox One controller and I've just had a lot of practice with this minigame so doing D-pad taps isn't too bad for me personally. That being said, the controls for this are awful to begin with so I hope that if you keep at it you'll be able to get it!

@@Camp4r thx! The start is smooth and always get 3, 4 balloons and im ahead of the Chocobotrainer. Thats easy. But……as soon u turn and enter the big field withe the birds my chocobo start to move uncontrolled. Sooo hard to pick up 10 balloons! Avoiding the Birds is not the problem actually. How do u tap the D-pad to pick up the balloons???? constantly to correct the movements towards the balloons? My Chocobo avoids them all..my best time is 2.7 after 50 attempts or so..its sooo annoying

Thx for ur tips man!!Really helpfull👍🏻👍🏻It was a nightmare doing this after so many fail runs: I think It took me an hour of struggling and cursing, but I took a Break, listened to music and after several attempts i got more and more close to it. At the right config of staying ahead of the Trainer and the positions of the balloons I got it!! Thx man ur tut was helpfull. This was thé only trophy i never got for years🤯😱. Never again!!!

I can't dodge the birds with d pad but can get balloons but not much, stick i can dodge birds better but harder to get balloons, i cannot stop being hit by the birds, plus when you get hit by 1 bird it stops you and before you can move again you get hit by 2 more birds

I can't even complete the Chocobo training game before this... It's so frustrating 😭 I honestly would pay someone $10 just to get the Sun sigil for me argghh

just keep trying and eventually you'l get it. it comes down to luck as well.

I'm playing pc, am I right in thinking you only have control of left and right? You seem to be moving alot quicker.

Left and right is correct. Most likely I’m just recentering more often so I gain more ground

This is the best guide so far but this minigame just makes me want to rage quit, buy some m80s and throw it at birds.

JediRouge It can be rough for sure, especially if rng isn’t in your favor. Take some breaks between attempts, it’ll happen eventually I’m sure 👍

Hey there! If you really just want the equipment you get from it, you could look into the FFXED which is a save file editor I've used to test things for the PC version of the game. Pretty sure you can set most of what you want completed in some of the settings, otherwise you can take a throwaway weapon and customize it like its Celestial counter-part - steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=685356413

ngl not sure if sarcastic or legit question haha but easiest way to explain would be how the game decides to give things that aren’t set such as balloon placements, equipment abilities, rare vs common item drops (spheres vs dark matter from arena monsters)
