@@UrbanMiller I’ll tell you who could have made it to The CFP as they were ranked number 10 if TCU lost a few, and if they kept winning but unfortunately they fell from grace prematurely as they lost to Louisville was Wake Forest they had a chance but they fell from grace early on sadly. Sam Hartman was a good qb he just fell from grace. They could have been a TCU a Cinderella surprise in the end. I thought that The Demon Deacons had a chance early on but they collapsed early. Depending on the other teams, and if TCU lost many games early on, Wake Forest could have played at The VRBO Fiesta Bowl against Michigan where TCU was. If early on Wake Forest had won to Clemson they would have been in the top 5 from number 10. If Wake kept winning from there, then they would have gone 13-0. Dave Clawson knew that his team was great early. They just gave up which berthed them to The Gasparilla Bowl to play Mizzou. They won in Tampa. Wake Forest could have been sensational. I think it’s sad that they went from number 10 early to unranked. Sam Hartman’s Heisman opportunity failed unfortunately.

@@Gonzoweirdo1 what would’ve been very interesting (wouldn’t have made sense but…) would’ve been to see 1 Georgia vs. 4 Alabama and 2 Michigan Vs. 3 Ohio State for a rematch, with Georgia and Ohio State in the Championship, that was the most entertaining game of the year. TCU deserved to be there because (except for the Big 12 championship) they handled business. It wasn’t pretty for them for the year in a lot of those games, but they always found a way. I’ve always thought the CFP should be 6 teams. 1 and 2 get a bye, 3 and 6 play, and 4 and 5 play. I honestly hate the idea of a 12 team playoff. Yes it’s more football, but it makes the regular season games nowhere near as important. It’s going to make way for a team (potentially) with 3 losses to match up against an undefeated Georgia. I don’t know. 12 is just too many. We’ll see how it all plays out, I hope I’m wrong and it just creates a better sport.

Respect to you Greg Mac. As a player and now qualified expert, your shows are on time and your insight and perspective is top notch. However, your employer leaves much to be desired. The way ESPN has hijacked the bowl season to cable-only is shameful. College football is accessible only to those who can afford cable? Don't give me the "business decision" argument. They'd still make plenty of money if they aired the games on network TV. They're greedy. A blowout that most people turned off before the end of the first half, served ESPN right.

Kirby Smart cracks me up. "Everyone doubted this team." What in the world is Smart talking about. Everyone who knows anything knew that UGA was in the driver's seat for the CFB championship. It was Georgia's to lose. The funniest thing is that the Georgia players, who are almost all 5 stars "play with a chip on their shoulders." If Smart is anything, he's a good salesman, because what he sold his team was absolutely NOT TRUE. NO ONE DOUBTED THAT UGA WOULD REPEAT. It is hilarious.

Greg must have overlooked that the Tide has the #1 recruiting class in 2023. The Dawgs #2. So, it's going to be fun to see them go head-to-head at the SEC 2023 championship. It's inevitable. TCU fan here choking on the National spotlight hurt college football. NFL has 32 teams 14 teams make the playoffs. College Football has 131 teams and 6 teams really only matter (Bama, Georgia, LSU, Clemson, OhioSt, & USC (formally known as Oklahoma, lol)) maybe Texas, Michigan, FSU, Auburn. This concentration of talent is terrible for the sport and really National Championship in 2022 was who can beat Georgia OSU w better kicker? Duggan choked I hope they were hungover or something. Those events at SoFi stadium did Not help TCU looked like kids a Willy Wonka’s factory pre game celebration nonsense. I knew it was going to disrupt TCU players and Georgia was ready to avoid its distraction. Terrible game can TCU ever in the mind of fans nationally be allowed back into the playoffs. Amazing 1st year coach and maximizing players they had all season, but that was either Georgia revenge on Ohio St taken out on TCU or They are so stacked who could compete really. Lopsided SEC is really what is Not good for College football while everyone is blaming the losers that much consented talent college football has 4x the teams of the NFL and the talent is consecrated to half the number of schools as NFL playoff teams. Can TCU even recover to complete for a National Championship again? Just feel like this success beating Michigan winning the Fiesta bowl was worse than if we lost 1st round admirably.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SHAME ON TCU!!! The shame is on the rest of the teams that had better recruiting, a better NIL, a better Transfer Portal, and an established coach that has been with his team for at least two years with a large salary. TCU won a chance to go to the Natty over all of those teams. All of those teams need to look at themselves in the mirror and be ashamed of this year. REMEMBER, this is Sonny Dykes’ first year with a team that only won five games last year. The team did not make a bowl game last year. They were picked to finish seventh in the Big Twelve this year. THE TEAM MADE IT TO THE NATTY! The reality with everything being said, all those established teams should not have let TCU make it to the Natty. SHAME ON ALL OF THEM! It is a given that Georgia was the better team that should have and deserved to win, as expected in the preseason. GEORGIA IS THE BETTER TEAM. LOOK AT ALL OF THE OTHER TEAMS THAT WERE PREDICTED TO BE AND SHOULD HAVE MADE IT TO THE NATTY. Good for you TCU beating all of the odds. As for the more established teams, all I can say, in the words from Game Of Thrones SHAME, SHAME, SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!!! There are some coaches’ salaries that should be questioned and maybe even reduced, due to poor performance and lack of return on investment. SONNY DYKES FOR COACH OF THE YEAR AND TCU FOR TEAM OF THE YEAR! DON’T TELL ME ‘NEW COACH,’ YOU CAN’T MAKE IT TO THE NATTY IN YOUR FIRST YEAR OF COACHING WITH A MEDIOCRE TEAM, FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR!!!
