I would hope it’s mostly the same going the other way. I’m a UGA fan and I know a lot of us will say we hate Bama, but it’s different than our other rivals. With Florida and Auburn I’ll unconditionally root against them unless them winning would help the Dawgs. With Bama, I just have so much respect for Saban that I can’t hate him or Bama. It definitely hurts that y’all have been the primary obstacle between UGA and a Natty, but it’s more respect and jealousy than pure hate. Best of luck tomorrow, should be a killer game.

@@NickOnFire1490 Truedat. I generally despise Auburn and LSU and to a lesser extent Tennessee. I generally will root for LSU during the bowl season but I have a hard time rooting for Auburn under any circumstances.

I often come back and revisit these interviews and one thing about it between Nick and Kirby, it's almost like a bromance. Their absolutely head over heels for each other, not in that way but like in a football type way 😂

Bama vs Georgia....win or lose EVERYONE wins.....CLEARLY THE TWO BEST TEAMS ALL YEAR and CONFIRMS THE SEC IS THE VERY BEST CONFERENCE IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL....

I will say this, Both of these teams and coaches are really great. They both teach and recruit and coach the same way. What an interview. very cool.

Georgia fan here. I have ALWAYS feared and respected Nick Saban and Alabama. They are true champions. I truly want the Bulldogs to win this game, but it will take everything our guys have to beat the Tide. Mad respect for the Tide. Go Dawgs!

ROLL TIDE! It’s crazy this man is so loved by us, he killed our happiness last year but as a bama fan I was immediately happy for him after the game and his team. The competition and the games have been awesome, us bama fans don’t hate Georgia like we do UT or LSU or Auburn. ROLL TIDE ROLL!

These aren't the same two teams who played each other in Atlanta 5 weeks ago. Bama's endured too many injuries in the meantime, and UGA is more focused and motivated this time around. All UGA has to do is play with more intensity and not repeat the same mistakes of the SEC Championship game and they'll win because- God, I can't believe I'm saying this -they're actually the better team. They've been the better team all year. God, you have no idea how much it pains me to have to say this.... We just have too many young guys being asked to step up and fill roles they're probably not ready to fill just yet for the biggest challenge we'll face all year.

UGA will most likely be right back in the playoff mix next year too. Even if saban wins another title after this year, his days are numbered, and he will be leaving at some point. I doubt it's while Young is there but still, he is on the way out, you cant deny he's not at the END of his coaching career. GO DAWGS!!

If bama wins then they do, but if UGA wins this, I can see the beginning of the end for saban. The media will push that narrative also.

If you're insinuating that's why Coach Saban is still at Bama you're sorely mistaken if you don't think other universities offered him the same if not more. He fully bought into the traditions, the passion and the potential to be the greatest there ever was with a historic and storied program. If it was just salary he wouldn't have been in Tuscaloosa for 15 years and most likely till he retires or dies on the sideline. Most likely the same for Coach Smart if allowed he will probably never leave Georgia.

Nick took Kirby everywhere (NFL and College) and made him the highest paid coordinator at the time. I highly doubt they are tired of each other.

ok let say this the only people watching the title game will be SEC fans and genral college football fans, Out of solidarity most Big 10, Big 12, ACC, and Pac10 fans won't be watching the title game. If you ask most of the other major conferences in the NCAA the conference they say they hate the most is the SEC and especially the fans which are the ones who watch the games
