Watching GSP superman jab to low kick combo is just too satisfying. It is like KFC level crisp movement .

noticed that he likes throwing that outside lead leg kick as he recovers from the superman punch

actually, if you watch it in slo-mo, 1: Superman jab 2: Right cross/hook 3. leg kick GSP moves are so fast we often missed the right hand in his combination

Seeing this makes me wonder why more MMA fighters don't utilize the jab. It's such a simple yet effective technique. Also you gotta love the Superman jab leg kick combination by GSP. So smooth.

when you put a bit of weight on your lead leg you're more susceptible to low calf kicks not to talk bad about jabs, jabs are great of course

It depend on the range. That’s why GSP and Usman have such a good jab.

Ofc it depends on who uses it or how good one's jab is, but I just wanted to tell him another possibility as to why not many others use a jab often in mma

Not every MMA is a fast-learner or refused to learn something new... - Conor McGregor has lot of years of MMA experience, but still can't do ground & pounding / Grappler game. - israel Adesanya still not learned to attempt a double-legs takedown (GSP is excellent at this) = If he could do that, he has way easier time beating Yoel Romero or Vettori.

GSP broke his orbital bone. Kos had to take a car back home some really long distance, because the pressure change from flying would have caused aggravated damage, IIRC.

I know this is from 2 years ago but i just feel like answering it was because of george's takedown threat they knew how explosive his double leg is and it'd be hard to shift from a normal stance to sprawling in time so some of george's opponents would just lean forward to make it harder to get sufficiently shot on that's what makes his jab so great

I jab like this and I have long arms and a long torso long legs all of it. I take MEAN advantage of it
