    Great observation, he was also in denial with the Beatles bringing in Eric to play lead. He didn't understand or was encouraged to see how great and forceful he was....we all now know now though...RIP George.

    I loved this era for him. It was like he had fully shaken off the shadow of being a Beatle and could finally revel in who he was. So sure of himself and his talent. His voice just got stronger with age. He is so missed.

    Actually it is 1982 Squier JV Stratocaster. It’s quality was comparable with american Stratocasters at that time. Including american pickups, hardware, it was and still is very valuable guitar.

    Not underrated I was 14, behind the iron curtains of Soviet union, occupied Estonia, when white album released. It was shock, two LP-s, and songs Back in the... and While my guitar gently. Ofcourse there are many other compositions, like Ringo Don't pass me..., Revolution no. 9, and others, but while my guitar is still one of my favourites. 52 years.

    I've watched this video at least a 100 times. It is inspirational, amazing, filled with joy, filled with emotion and enormous talent.     When I was younger I liked John the best. But now I understand that George was a musician with exceptional quality and soul. He is sadly missed. This is the best rendition of his own composition. Ringo is perfection on the drums. As is Phil of course the master

    Ive watched the 'concert for George' and Prince versions so many times im so glad i found this. Georges voice is so big here ive never heard him sing like that, and that Dual guitar solo wow! The Beatles are the gift that keep on giving. Just when you think you've seen or heard every clip there's a new one.

    George could play guitar damn good, Clapton was brought in by George because there was tension and he thought Eric being there would calm things , which it did.
