George never understood how important his voice, music, - indeed, his presence - was to those of us who got him. Sure I loved the Beatles. Yes John Lennon. But he was the secret. He was that harmony between Paul's incredible range and John's powerful voice. He was always 'the man' to me. I play guitar, and have a small reputation as an aggressive hard rock/punk guy. But George was always my hero. He's been gone (it'll be) 22 years this coming November. That's how long my heart's been broken by his passing. I hope he's still hangin 'round when I get there.

Another lousy birthday, but worse, it was announced on early morning TV news that George Harrison died. I went into a BR stall and cried. Big tough guy who was drafted and did a tour as a Army Ranger (LRRP). So, I said, screw my trip and fly off to visit my favorite person on earth. Not my loving wife of 30 years or my mom of 50 years, who had her hands full with me growing up, but to see my grandmother. She lit up like a harvest moon seeing me. It was a perfect idea, and sadly not many more to come. She died shortly thereafter at 100. George always had a special place in my heart too. I think of that day often.

Jaw on floor. No scantily clad dancers, no vulgarity, no smoke and obnoxious, flashing lights. Most of all, NO AUTO TUNE! Today’s “artists” should be ashamed of the garbage they are putting out masquerading as music. If these men were to come out with this today, they probably wouldn’t see the light of day. They don’t fit today’s marketing message or formula. Fortunately they and their contemporaries came at the right time with the right music. Don't look at "Thumbs Down". Look at the percentage thumbs up to thumbs down. Here...let me calculate it for you since I graduated high school... 0.0089% of total viewers gave this a thumbs down. That is...fewer than 1 in 100 gave this a thumbs down. That's like 15 thumbs down for every 1500 thumbs up (which ain't too shabby). (Keep in mind how many morons voted for Hillary in the 2016 primary knowing that would give all of us Trump!) And never forget that Intelligence is a bell-shaped curve with 100 as the mean ....AND you have NO IDEA how STUPID a 100 IQ is. Ahem...i.e. not needing state assistance but NOT VERY GODDAMN BRIGHT!!

Wow, doesn't get any better. On 11/29/2001 I was boarding a plane for a long business trip and thought, damn it's my 50th B-Day.

Their music will endure because it is pure and it is genius.

are you counting both guitars? 'cause i see only six tuning machines and six bridge pins on each guitar. i think you need a new Rx for your glasses. AND your ears.

John Michael The film is kinda blurry, so I was going more by the sound. Oh well, at least glasses can help my vision. There’s probably nothing that can be done about you being a rude person.

Jenny & Craig - you think that was rude? SMH. another PC snowflake heard from. at worst, my comment was MILDLY sarcastic. here's a tip: if you're too fragile to handle being called out for making an idiotic statement on a public forum, STOP MAKING THEM. what would you have us all do? permit FALSE statements to continue to circulate just because some shrinking violet might wither under scrutiny? alas, there's probably nothing that can be done about you being a stupid libtard.
