I'd love to see Carlin's take on this "You're either this, or your that" mentality that's become so overwhelmingly pervasive today.

Thankfully, a few comics like Louis CK and Bill Burr seem to be following his steps, they’re not as eloquent as he was but hopefully they’ll age like fine wine.

I'd give anything for George to still be here... again he'd still be one of the few comedians who won't bend to these idiots and keep entertaining ppl no matter how stupid we get as a species...

What a once-off , unforgettable classic! His monologues were like razor blades being fired from a machine gun.

George Carlin was a genius. Said it like it was.

I wish I could have gone to one of his shows. This guy is amazing, even coming back in 2022. He nailed it all. It makes you wonder how long we have been at this cycle.

He nailed it every time!! I love the way he had ability to identify the stupidity of people. For example, parents validating themselves by placing their children honor roll stickers on the back of their cars.

The hole in the dam that Trump caused has turned into a flood, not only in the States but around the world. The night I saw him, almost half of the audience got up and left within the first 30 minutes, leaving me to wonder who they thought they were going to see - unless they were all members of the same sanctimonious church and wanted to demand their money back just to deprive him of it! Personally, I laughed so hard I almost fell out of my chair! I had been a fan since the late 60's so it was a joy for me to see him live. I laughed all the way home and still remember the things that made me laugh so hard. There will never be another like him.

This man had it all,a way of seeing the world that was so spot on,his intelligence, humor, views on religion and pointing out just how stupid some people can be,but always in a humorous way.Loved George he was the best bar none. He would have a lot of material today with this messed up world were in. RIP,George

Even the Hippie Dippie Weatherman could not have predicted what's going on nowadays.

Calling an institution of learning an "indoctrination center" wasn't common then but Carlin knew. Now we all acknowledge it.

Only stupid people call a learning center you know school call it an indoctrination center. Like evangelical christians trying to take science out of schools. They call school indoctrination centers as well.

I watched his last interview and this man made the mariana trench seemed like a kiddie pool with his understanding of humanity. He has a full circle of thought comprised of all subjects bits in college and life. Listening to him truly is educational. PLUS.. mad entertaining 😁😁😁 Rest easy now, George.

George Carlin was a fucking GENIUS.....

Has anyone’s face and stomach been in literal pain from laughing so hysterically? 🤣 I wish Carlin was still alive, especially in the 2021 COVID culture.

The fact that the people who sort their garbage and jog with their dogs were sitting in the theatre and were laughing at themselves makes me truly understand the power of comedy.

His introductory descriptions of each group he rants about are priceless.

Got to see him in '99 in Gainesville, Florida. It was so cool because there aren't that many shows were you see young adults with their parents and some even their grandparents and everyone having a great time.

This guy lives in my head. Rent free, in the space between my ears& whenever he shits, thanks to the lack of a filter, it comes right out my mouth

George Carlin was truly a truth teller. Sounds quirky, but folks should have paid attention.

The best and worst of George is the fact that everything he says has a large element of truth. He is brilliant.

I've never really laughed that much at (well, with) Carlin, but THIS brutal bit had me in tears. Good God.

Carlin's audiences cheer and applaud his condescension, unaware or unwilling to acknowledge that he's talking about them as much as anyone outside the theatre.

OR they realize that some of the content may apply to them but they can take a joke, quit acting like they're ignorant or stupid for laughing at a COMEDIAN

George was great at telling the truth about society.

I actually had a bumper sticker that read " My kid was inmate of the year at the Colorado Correctional institution". I noticed a lot of people that were behind me at stop lights were laughing. I really wish we had George Carlin s insights on todays life. The world is so much more crazy than when he was around. If you can appreciate that Bumper sticker please let me know

Loved this man. Miss him.

BUT, was he really a comedian?? If you listen very carefully, l think he is telling us to smarten the fuck up.

I say 'Hey Mr. and Mrs. Natural Fibers.'" 👋😁 You know exactly the type of people he's talking about too. Carlin was a poor man's philosopher. A true genius.
