I’ve lived by that for years. I first heard someone other than myself say it here. My take is “ If you’re going to be stupid, you better be tough.” Same thing just reversed. I think is just intuitive adult knowledge though. Nothing new under the sun……

I met Gary in Orlando at a conference in 2002. Also his son Bond and John Carlton...a real highlight for me. He did some 'hotseats', and the way he and John attacked marketing problems was priceless.

Are any HU students watching this? Started watching it at 10am, and it is now 2 28 pm just finished watching it took notes and everything. Very help full videos most techniques still apply in the modern years we live in. Thank you, R.I.P Gary Halbert bro died being a money-making machine 🔥🔥🔥

Im reading sugarmans adweek copywriting handbook and he's shared some impressive insight that i love but how successful is he really at copywriting? I get the sense that he has only had a couple of successes. I dunno. I didnt really like the vids that ive seen of him. He kinda rubbed off on me the wrong way but i love what ive read of his book thus far...

Still relevant today ! No BS marketing, Gary Halbert was a real expert.

Gary isn’t a slick wordsmith, he talks a little slowly, but everything he says you’re waiting to hear what the next thing is, because it’s great content. He speaks like how great advertising works.

Sir Gary of Halbert is greatly missed. Thanks for sharing this video.
