I'm surprised you didn't mention Copywriting Secrets by Jim Edwards. That's a great book as well...but I will read and PRINT OUT Boron Letters. Thanks for sharing

gary halbert mentioned in one of his posts that david ogilvy stated that one should not be allowed to create advertising till he has read scientific advertising 7 times over.

Question: I wrote an About page for a client... I followed your how to write an awesome about page. However the client wants it to be corporate jargon. Knowing this will not work as well. Should I just cater to their needs? Even if I've already explained the importance of standing out? Thank you.

Seems like everyone always mentions Breakthrough advertising. I have Cashvertising, Scientific Advertising, Alchemy, The copywriter’s handbook, The Ultimate Sales Letter, How to win friends and influence people, How to write copy that sells, On Writing by Stephen King, Writing Fiction by Gotham Writers Workshop. I’m going to get Breakthrough Advertising and Copy Logic. Having Audible as well, I try to find these books on there as well.

But the boron letters are just part of what's there. You'll need to hunt around a bit to find them. I doubt that site will win an award for layout. :-)

I think reading the same books on advertising will help your blogging skills more than you think... Advertising is all about attracting and keeping customers to what you're selling.
