fv432 pack lift in under 6 minutes

At a recent fv432 forum meet up we removed and refitted a fv432 k60 pack for a service and starter fault. Someone mentioned they removed theirs in 6 minutes, didn't they Arnie! The challange was set!

Lol, louvres already removed, mounting bolts out, prop disconnected, 6 minutes my backside...
45 minutes is a fast removal if you have a good crew who have already removed the piano boards, louvres and knife edge for you. And there isn't a 5th mounting bolt of course!
Now try doing it in the dark whilst it's raining on soltau training area.
God that was painful....shit crane instructions....."tele out" etc Where is the obligatory shovel to coax out the pack ...lol
Would take me over 6min to unbolt the prop!
does that involve removal of piano boards ect ect est more like pack lift out lol
At times like that, I used to appreciate the wrecking bar that was in the CES. Little crowbar looks pretty "little" by comparison :)

6 minutes my arse, a pack lift means the whole deal not just the easy bit.....

Pack bolts,louvres piano boards,propshsft,gear linkage.disconect from steering unit exhaust fuel lines etc.Longer than 6 mins.
