FULL VAN TOUR - Ford Transit 148 EL - Titan Classic

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The Titan Classic camper van model consists of a fixed base package plus optional upgrades for an additional cost. In this Ford Transit 148" EL High Roof camper van build we’ve added some upgrades such as the galley (kitchen), overhead cabinets, and bench seat.
The Titan Classic is an option that allows us to significantly lower the van conversion costs without sacrificing quality and durability. By standardizing the base package and the available optional upgrades we can streamline our production to a level where the workload and labor hours are substantially reduced.
Our engineers carefully designed the Titan Classic option to be durable, reliable, and serviceable. Everything from the flooring to the electrical and water systems was engineered with adventurous weather, temperatures, and usage in mind.

    I like the industrial style modular design. Like a hybrid between work truck and lightly camper. But it's too clean for a work truck and too bad insulation for live aboard.

    I am assuming you mean lithium iron phosphate batteries when you say lithium ion. Most people won't know the difference but they are not the same thing. Also wondering if you could elaborate on how the halo buttons work with the lighting system. I am building a van myself and want to figure out how your light control works where you can touch or hold to turn on/off or dim the lights with memory of the dimmer setting. Would be great if a light control kit could be offered on your DIY website.

  • @TitanVans

    @TitanVans

    Yes all of our systems are LiFePo, that is the industry standard right now. For the lighting you just need to find the right dimmer module, the buttons are just momentary switches. We like the idea of a DIY kit for that though, we get lots of questions about our lighting.

    Nice video. I'd like a van build with Murphy bed (split in the middle), Cabinetry above and the ones over the wheel wells. I won't need any electrical since I'm using the portable solar generator. Is this possible?

    @@more3852 black certainly absorbs more wavelengths of light and thus is warmer than other colors but the exterior fabric is not what gives the window shades their insulative properties. The shades are constructed using double sided reflective insulation which is what reflects the heat.

    Hey, great build, great video. *Question.* {subtitled how to get a tub in a travel van} Do you think it's possible to have a low-ish rise bed running parallel to the wheel axil... have the bed as a slider... transforms into two benches, just add the table... under the "head" of the bed cavity build in a Japanese-style soaking tub? Line it with red cedar. It leaves enough room to carry that 2 litre sized weed sprayer they sell at the big box stores; so you could have a private shower. Without the plumbing (except for some way to drain the water out). Right now I'm playing a game with myself in which I imagine what I would want, in an ideal world, if money was no object. I imagined a blend of a Japanese soaking tub and a Cowboy tub (there's a guy in the prairies of Canada who will make them, custom). - Cathy (&, accidently, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown

    Small suggestion for your window blind. Sew rare earth magnets into the four points that need to connect. That way it gets more easily held into place.
