it would be nice if you did a part 1 and 2 order for the full dyi kit so you dont have to spend so much at once. for example part 1 would be the flooring, panels and pluming. and part 2 would been the bed, bed frame cabinets and so on.

You are charging $45,000 and you don't even use rivet nuts!?!? You do understand that by using self tapping screws, the metal in the van will start rusting! But once the 3 year warranty runs out, its no longer your problem. 🤷♂

This used to be the procedure for strictly our DIY panel sets. We've gone through multiple different iterations of this product since this video was made. Many procedures for our DIY products are designed to be more friendly for those who may not have access to the tools, space, and knowledge that our production team has. Appreciate the comment!

One of several dumbest things you have done and im being honest while providing a constructive criticism here. You decided to use a 120V A/C unit that's too big for the such a small van while charging $4,000 for it! Simply stupid!! For more than half the price there are excellent 12volt A/C unit on the market that will get the job done just as well.

Our DIY kits are currently only for Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter, and Ram Premaster chassis. We do offer floor mounted L-track and bike for mounts through our DIY site. Our full production line offers a few more solutions for carrying snowboards and mountain bikes.

I hate the 1/4 tank cut off for the heater. In a larger RV that is $100 of gas. In this Van it should be 1/10 of a tank at the most ... you can still go 30 miles! Also, I often arrive in the mountains late at night with less than 1/4 tank. I can get gas in the morning and continue my journey when the gas station is open! If you go deep into the forrest, then you should really be full and be tracking your gas usage anyway! Plus, having the heater on all night does not use that much gas! ... you are not going to use even 1/4 of a tank!

Clear, thorough presentation - excellent job and thank you! Of the van build-out companies I'm familiar with, this appears to be the most well considered design. Baltic Birch, Isotherm, oil/wax finish - quality seems to jump out at one. Very impressive option with only a few details to personalize (toilet, shower, install vs. portable frig).

Great looking build. Do the optional add-on features like the windows and the heater have to be installed at the same time as the rest of the standard build, or can they be added later? Also, do you have any relationships with dealers to help source a van?

We can absolutely help you source a van! Features like windows are typically installed towards the beginning of the build, for a few reasons, so these would not be able to be added after the fact. Items like Webasto heaters and Maxxair fans are much easier to integrate into a finished build. Feel free to contact us or the team at Timbervankits if you need more information!

This is possibly the most efficient and functional build I’ve seen. I would turn the back passenger seats into a computer office and have the drivers chair swivel to it.

Mines only goes 20mph. According my manual it suppose to go 28mph at throttle with out pedaling. Any idea of this? I have the 750w peak at 1300w " "

I think you missed the mark with the Murphy bed. The other side should have the support leg and be the couch or Murphy bed because of the additional head room. Either that or move all the overhead cabinets to the other side. JMHO YMMV

Cool van! Have you considered swapping the sink and shower locations? I feel like this would be a better option and you could add a flip up counter to the right of the sink that would deploy when the seatback is folded flat. I think it's the idea of a wet sink next to my mattress that bothers me.

The sink cabinet is designed over the top of the vehicle wheel well, which if swapped, the shower stall could not accomodate. When using the sink, the intention is to slide the bed back to free up internal space and move the mattress further away from the sink.
