A really nice van conversion and she did an excellent job on the presentation 👏 Definitely a thumbs up 👍
Julie did an excellent job with the presentation. Your van builds are superb.
Nice job! I love how there are so many builders now for these vans - all pushing each other with new, clever ideas, better uses of space, and in your case, some custom fabricated items.

Beautiful build! My favorite is the custom double chair that has multiple function! Easily one of my top 5 camper vans to date!

Beautiful build guys. The swivel 2 person seat is saweet!
Awesome van. Great job Limitless van.
Very nice van and well thought out layout for a small space.
Excellent build and a very efficient walk-through.
Great build!
A lot of good thinking going on there. My favorite is the rear ladder utilizing the center of the spare tire as a step.

I own and camp in a 148wb high roof. You can't imagine how cramped you'd be in that build with 4 people.

You're builds and nice and clean but in this one two design issues popped out. First is the back ladder. The very top rung top surface is continueous with the downward sloping segment leading to the veritical member. This makes that first down going foot placement at risk of a fall. A design for more secure footing would not have the stylish angled segment and have the vertical member continue up above the level of that top step. This provides the person with information where to place the foot and confidence that foot won't slide to the side and off the ladder. (Certainly if you have two ladders, this is unnecessary, but there is only one ladder and a person want's to get on and off the roof, it is an issue.) Second issue are the visors. The cockpit shelf has visors attached to it, but those are the visors that cars continue to have since about 1910. I am waiting for cars to have a visor that simply slides forward and down (a bit like a garage door in the midwest), rather than a flap that is first rotatated toward the driver's head then away from the driver's head. Unlike a garage door that is segment, this visor can be a flat but flexible sheet that follows a gentle curve as it slides forward and down by the use of a rotating or sliding lever. This design covers more of the glass side to side preventing issues withe the sun peaking through an opening if time of day and vehicle orientation are just right.
I really like the seat
Real Nice - Start with a basic van 148 WB - High Top AWD is probably 55 K . Add at least 100 K for the conversion . Sweet.

About 59K with all the options. If you are going to spend that much, you want all of the safety and comfort features. That's for a 2022, your estimate for a 2021 is probably spot on.
Would love to see a build on a AWD Toyota sienna highbred. Love everything you did just want better fuel economy!
Very nice
This is amazing. This is the closest layout to the one I've been designing, down to the wilderness vans double seat. Question for you. How much space do you have between the galley and the double seats? 12"?

Nice...
You do such a clean, functional and stunning builds. Definitely, has given me so many great ideas I want to incorporate into my build. I really like the latching you have for your garage area, you can open and get the doors out of the way even if you have stuff in your garage area. What latches are those? These round ones are different then what I have seen in your other garage areas. Do you like these round ones more than the other rectangular style? Thanks again for the videos and inspiration

Thank you! They are marine latches. We personally prefer the quality of marine latches, and they come in a couple different shapes, but I don’t think I’ve seen rectangles. :)

Nice! Are the coach batteries charged by a second alternator under the hood or connected to the engine alternator? Can you idle the engine to top up the coach batteries if staying put in a campsite for a while? I know there is solar on the roof but that is more of a trickle charge weather permitting. Really nice van BTW!
@ryankim3612
2 жыл бұрын
This is a great question. We can get the dual alternators, but I would hope it can charge the chit outta the batteries if we run the engine for a bit (?)
Why did you block out the "FORD" logo on the grille, while the "FORD" logo on the right rear door and the steering wheel are clearly visible? Just curious!
If you pull out the wheel why don't you add the tank to the wheel well? Sea sucker makes tables to cook outside.
Great presentation and an unbelievable van. Definitely on my wish list but not obtainable. 😥$
Hey guys! Awesome layout! Can you tell me if this conversion is built on a Crew or Cargo Transit? Thanks!

Awesome van build!! How does the AWD Transit compare to the 144' Sprinter 4x4 with interior space and off road capabilities?
@adventuresforthemasses7025
2 жыл бұрын
I'm not very familiar with the Sprinter AWD system but I was truly impressed with Ford's. Gear #1 in the Transit 10 speed transmission is a pretty low ratio for low speed maneuvering and the Traction control does a surprising good job at sending power to the correct wheels.
@LimitlessVan
2 жыл бұрын
I can’t compare the two, but I will say people are truly happy with the Ford AWD.
It's a pity thet you did not show us what the roof looks like and what is there apart rom the solar batteries, the more so because you had such wide and supposedly safe, but steps on the ladder protruding far beyond the online of the car..., it is a pity that a freezer is so small , a campervan does not have a shower ( we are XXI century ) and has two armchairs , which are completely unnecessary when two people travel by van....
@LimitlessVan
2 жыл бұрын
A rear seat is definitely not a pity when you travel with friends and family! Or say, when you have children that need a safe place to sit.
Any builds with a full shower + toilet in that 148in transit size?
@LimitlessVan
2 жыл бұрын
We do offer a fully enclosed interior shower but have never put one in a 148.” We can definitely make it work depending on the layout chosen. :)
Beautiful build! Very clean and modern. Nice decision to build on the Transit instead of the Sprinter. I'd prefer gas over diesel. I've always wondered of seats on L track are DOT approved? I like the separation of electric and water in the garage. Just need to win the lotto! .
@ethancodes

tbh i wouldn't trust the L track, unless it's bolted into the most solid metal beams of the van

Does the van compass lift void any ford factory warranties?
@LimitlessVan
2 жыл бұрын
It is rare for lift kits to void the factory warranty as Ford has to be able to prove that it was the modification that caused the issue. So in some instances it may, but it’s not likely when installed correctly.

Almost $200,000k, might as well buy a Mercedes’ Van
I'm in shock. You put the word "Fully Loaded ..." in the title, so I expected to finally see something to the extent of my interest. I am a traveler and I travel all over the world and I am still looking for a van that would meet these requirements. I emphasize that each such trip in one direction is a time spent in the van from three to five months. What I saw in this video was a meager van for four people for weekend, not a vehicle for a further and longer journey into the unknown. We are in the 21st century and each of us needs, if not every day, every second or third day to take a shower, use the bathroom every day, and this vehicle, supposedly built to order, does not have anything like that. And this is the basis of the existence of every civilized man. Another weakness of this vehicle is a very small number of shelves and cabinets, which each of us needs a lot. A large garage is more a room for some additional sports equipment, not a place to store socks, t-shorts or pants ... The only advantage of this van is only a four-wheel drive and nothing else ... it's a pity ...
@sleepycalico
2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I was expecting to hear it at least had a water purifier for river water. You could take out the slider setas to gain valuable storage space; the single bed space they make is tiny. I guess you would buy a cushion so feet could extend out to the driver's seat--one more thing to store. I can see why this is not the typical build. I wondered why they would wrap a vehicle that might brush up against things off-roading. Seems like a paint job would have been more practical, if they couldn't stand the factory color choices? A wrap can last 5 years if treated pristinely. But if this vehicle is always out in the sun, I'd give it a year before I would want to remove it, so it wouldn't bake in and become a headache. Who wants one more maintenance chore and the needless extra expense.
@n2cycles

John, what you are looking for is an earth roamer that cost 7 figures. I get that and understand but you can't expect a light duty van build with this foot print to have all that. Everything is a compromise. For the US market this thing rocks for the average explorer. Gas makes it compatible virtually everywhere south of the border the awd system in the Ford is not biased for rock crawling but for bad weather and fire trails. The beauty is that this van can be repaired at any Ford dealership. The ecoboost engine is so much more powerful than the sprinter and much cheaper to service.

@@n2cycles Camper Van does not have to be expensive, as evidenced by hundreds of entries also on You Tube by people who have built such vehicles themselves. Of course, these vans built by larger companies are very poorly finished and very expensive, and what I wrote in the previous vlog, they have several seats instead of shelves, which for real travelers is completely unnecessary. Again, a van without a modest bathroom (shower with toilet-WC) is just an ordinary passenger car, not a vehicle for traveling and exploring the world .... And that's all there is to it.
@sleepycalico

@@n2cycles Those are good points. Still, it shouldn't be called fully loaded when there isn't even air-conditioning or heat. Both of those missing comfort items are commonplace and a godsend. It's an expensive tent substitute with a winch on the front because it is pretending to be something it isn't. It seats four but sleeps 2 1/2 -- and at the expense of storage. It's a big mistake in advertising -- and in design. Someone will want it though, because at least you can sleep comfortably in it and park it when you are running everyday errands in your everyday life.

It is not a 4x4 , it is an AWD. And it rocks. The message that they are portraying is that they have the capability to do any type of build out.
I’ve seen kids on tik tok with better builds than this
