Nice job with thinking things through! I love taking the dogs' needs & safety into account - that's so important! I am renovating my Class-C to create more aisle space for my larger dogs. When I started traveling years ago, I had toy dogs and space was not an issue. Now I have larger dogs [greyhounds & Shepherd/Lab cross ] with far different needs!

That's certainly the impression I got too, they seem to have thought of everything to suit their particular needs priorities and circumstances, others might change the size and allocation of space of some items.

Fantastic build! Love the dog space. Now I can take my 2 Shelties on the road and follow your lead on safe and comfortable dog space. I also love to cook and kitchen was wonderful. This van build looks like the interior of an airplane. Pretty remarkable. I want to see a picture of this guy at Woodstock. I missed Woodstock but I went to the Atlanta international Pop Festival. It was way too hot.

Luv’d this van conversion! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼The owners made it fit their lifestyles with two dogs in a class b van, with a lot of attention to fit and finish. 👍🏼 The biggest concern I see is the at the end of the video, where is shows where the generator is stored, because it is on the inside; unless it’s propane, they are unsafe driving with a gasoline hazard. He could easily fabricate a storage box on the outside of the door and safely travel and use it without taking it off. 😁

Yes it isn't ideal, however the Generac has a air tight gas tank shut off.

@@RichardSites I didn’t hear the price of his conversion. I wonder if less expensive than some class Bs I’ve seen. Someday I hope to have a Transit and conversion. In the meantime I would LOVE to find a place locally that would do a conversion on my 2020 Toyota Seneca!!

Katie Nunes - How blessed you are, Katie. And how blessed you husband and dogs are to have you. Do you have a YT channel? If so, what is it? The interviewer did not obtain any such info from you. I love your conversion. I would love a skylight in the lounge/bed area, however. They make new ones that have both a screen in them and a blackout shade. But, I realize that you have a cargo area above that area, which is probably more needed than a sky light. Do you also have covers for all of your widows - pull down shades or room darkening inserts?

One of the most innovative builds I’ve seen!!! Loved this one! Cheers

Wow! Pretty amazing build. Everything is top of the line and so well done. I love the clothes cabinets. Really amazing. The rounded edges really give a nice look and the color is beautiful. Great idea with dog crates. Only thing that I could not deal with is the table bed conversion every day and night. I want a fixed bed. Must have cost a small fortune to do even without labor costs. The build must cost more than the vehicle AND build I’m hoping to do. When I see these professional builds I’m awed and kind of covetous but I always wonder what they could do with a minivan.

ohmercy - And I am just the opposite. I can’t stand a fixed bed. They are always so messy and lumpy. Plus, you lose out on all of your social area (a lounge/dinette) of living. One must have benches and tables to enjoy your meals and having guests over for socializing - playing games, cards or just having appetizers and drinks. Furthermore, I would not like looking at my bed all day for no reason nor desire that my guests would have to see my bed taking up to 1/3 or 1/2 of my living area. It would only take a few minutes to set it up and break it down each day so you could enjoy a tidy & much larger actual living area.

Wow this is most complete van conversion ever see it before congratulation to both of you From Tino and Tricia from Clarksville TN....

So glad to see someone building with dogs in mind. I have two Aussies, 80 and 70 lbs that fight when they get in close quarters sometimes and I want to take them along with me. I'm single so trying to think about slimming down certain parts of a build, a twin bed instead of a queen, and a single seat and pop up table instead of bench seating for two to eat. Looking forward to seeing your ideas!

Love your overhead cabinets. I am probably going to follow some of your cabinet ideas. I am currently making my own custom transit van (AWD) 148” hightop medium length. We also own a Pleasure-Way Plateau but we have decided to up fit our own van just the way we want it. There is the original plan and now project creep has begun, but since I can and am doing the all the work, as long as my wife does not change her mind (too often) after I build things I am fine to adapt and adjust along the way. Covid project initiated by my wife to give me a project while we cannot travel far. We decided to downsize a little more but it is still upsizing from our VW Westfailia past.

Kudos - well done! Loved the airplane-style overhead clothing storage. ... and oh my, a real hanging closet and a nice shower/toilet/bathroom sink installation. I particularly like that it has a separate small sink - brilliant! I'm sure there are plenty of apartments that have less kitchen storage and amenities than this Van conversion - simply amazing! Clever idea to hide the bedding and sleeping bags in a fat, long pillow roll upholstered like a couch. Truly great attention to detail incl. amenities for the pooches. With minor changes, I think this is the first van conversion that I could live in.

Thanks. It works great for us. It's interesting that you focused on the small sink in the shower because it was the biggest change we made by removing it. We found that it was not the best use of the space. We always just used the "kitchen" sink.

I love this video for most of the reasons many other commenters have given but.... My main reason for a reply was because of the "presentation" . It was great that they all spoke distinctly and at a listening pace.. Many have wonderful info that is nearly impossible to understand. Either sticcato pace, or up on the end of each sentence, or they mumble, speed to rapid or move from "microphone area". It is sooo frustrating to try so hard to hear needed info and miss it due to quality of presentation. Im very grateful they even take their time do the presentations and am appreciative of the folks that do them for us but it would do them well to listen to this b4 they do a video... Yes i understand they are usually not professionals.. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOT THIS ONE

OMG!! I agree with all the kudos, and I read them all. One ( of many wows), the windows position in the kitchen. I wish the camera would have captured this feature better. If you missed it go back, hit pause and be amazed and enjoy. Comfy, clever and most inviting home. I won't spoiler the kennels, yes plural makes this a must see. This is an absolutely incredible build out. They have thought of everything they need, plus a few extras! I would love to know about how much they spent in materials... obviously the man power hours would be very high if they weren't doing it themselves. And the workmanship points out that this was truly a labor of love. I am sure they will have many, many miles of van life fun!

@@RichardSites KT is going to Maine from July 4th to 15th. I will pick her up there and if the Canadian border is open we will go to Nova Scotia. After that we will travel west across southern Canada over the great lakes to Minnesota south west to Visit friends in Denver and Boulder. Eventually work our way to Washington and Oregon down the west coast to San Diego.???? Home in time to vote in a new president .
