I'm pretty sure that your "noodle beans" are yard long beans. They are an Asian variety that have become a favorite for me in Florida. Those ones that have gotten to the size where you think they are too big to eat are actually still fine for using in soups.

But just the same, I will be saving seed.

oh wow hun I roasted some of my cherry tomatoes and wow it is amazing. I added some to potatoes that I was roasting as well and oh my it sure did put a spin on it. I used some of my ground red chili pepper from the peppers I grew last yr and it had a bite too. I am so excited about growing in my green house and a fall harvest. I love to make my homemade sauerkraut and learned this yr that store bought cabbage is often sprayed which causes it to rot instead of fermenting, and to grow my own cabbage would be best. I pray I can grow several heads of cabbage. I would love to make a huge batch of sauerkraut. I have even given it as gifts to those who share my love for it. I do have a grow cabinet in my bathroom, and have decided to begin growing lettuce so I can have fresh salad, there is no sense buying it. I'm told it is easy to grow under the proper conditions. I just hope I can figure out what those are.
