Boy I wouldn't mind doing my wash in a machine like this today, These machines used water and really knew how to clean... My Mom had a Frigidaire Jet Action washer back in the 60's and that machines used water too but your clothes came out amazingly clean!!! Thanks for the video Gso and have a good night!!!

This machine honestly blows me away. Although its splashy (and tangles clothes), this machine's many abilities and unique agitation put other washers, (and high efficiency washers) to shame. Gso, this machine is so cool, and I look forward to seeing a small load of whites in there! Have a nice day!

Thank You! This machine is quite amazing, quirky but a fun machine nevertheless.

I sure like to see some old Kim Morris and whirlpools from the sixties and very early 70s especially the Bonanza model Kenmore back in the very late 60s early 70s the full cycle washing and spinning

Oh my what a fantastic machine! I just bought a h e maytag because I was desperate to wash after 4 weeks of having two different repairmen who left to order parts and never returned. I put my 1999 machine in storage because as soon as I can find a place to repair it the new one is trashed! I hate the new machines.

Sorry to hear about your washer trouble. A good repairman can fix your old machine. Don't give up and good luck

I meant to ask you does the water that it splashes go over the outside tub onto the floor or is that just splashing from the inside tub to the outside tub? Just love this washer, nice size load and still manages to give it a good wash.

Some of the water will hit the outer tub.

The way the drain slots are positioned keeps the splashing water in except for periods of overflow rinsing.

honestly - this type of washer could probably work well today- its clear that the back and forth type of agitation works best with ample amounts of water that just are not allowed today- maybe something like this would work well- the washer does not seem to be too much of a water hog-

These probably didn't have lid switches(??) Wonder how many housewives would forget to close the lid and come back cursing to a mess on the floor.....LOL

Not sure what you mean. But I did laundry for my mom as a kud in the 60s and if lid left open they didn't drain and spin. But no person with a brain left a lid open.

Yes, it does. All Kelvinators do. The short cycle doesn't do the magic minute.
