This is what I would call a “FUN” machine it’s so unusual compared to the “normal” variety out there. Still does the job well thought. That was a large load for this washer.

The agitator is what I call a "gentle giant". It looks like its rough on clothes, but in reality, it isn't. Cool machine.

Hey i have bendix home washer here and im restoring it and when i looked at the gearbox i noticed there wasnt any oil inside it. Is that normal it work without oil or it supposed to work w oil?

A washer is supposed to work with oil or it will damage the gears it's kind like a car

reminds me of how my whirlpool calypso washes cool machine,will you be able to find a new rubber ring that sits at the top of tub rim? its dry rotted. or will you have to somehow make one?

The new machines are automatically locked shut that’s why I like the old machines where you can keep the lid open

Yeah they introduced that feature after kids drowned and got their limbs torn off. Definitely lower in the list of drawbacks of modern machines

Old machines are dangerous for children, yes. I prefer having the lid open as well. Just don't put your hand near it while its spinning and you'll he okay.

It's screwed onto the shaft that moves in this concentric motion. I will get a video of it for all to see.
