I'm a new subscriber here. I love your videos where it is so calming and quiet, and I feel like I'm doing a private session with an instructor. I like how you go straight to the point and discuss every form. I am looking forward to more Pilates with weights with you at an intermediate level. The weights, even though very light, made the movements more challenging. I had to check my posture many times to make sure my back and my knees stayed protected. A great mindfulness exercise and morning workout in one! Thanks Katja!

I was bedridden from a migraine for a couple of days, and this was my first workout. It was an excellent way to reawaken my mind and body. I have never done pilates with weights before, and it was challenging and fun. Thank you for such a wonderful class and for being such a stellar instructor!!!

I enjoyed using the weights, not really used to them so this was a lovely introduction.I Struggled a little to see at the beginning so I was pleased when on the mat it was more close-up shots

That was an amazing stretch. Very good for my lower back. Never underestimate the power of Pilates with lightweights! That was more intense than 3lb weights. 💖

Katja thank you so much for your fantastic lessons on line! specially during the lockdowns in Holland it was/is so comforting and helpful to keep body and mind in shape. Due to the Covid situation unfortunately my sport Centre had to close definitely which is a great disappointment because we have to miss our fantastic instructors and each other. But your lessons on KZread are a great consolation; thanks again and I've send your link to most of my sport friends!

This was lovely💗 Truly. At first I was thinking it was too slow too light weight..... but as we progressed I felt the building effort and flow! Now that I’m finished this was one strong beautiful class! I personally appreciate being proven wrong when I assume something before trying it. So thank you not only for the physical, but also the mental practice today 💖

Fantastic practice, really calm but very effective . .. I really enjoyed the weights combo, perfect. .. also I found that I could achieve the roll up from lying down with the weights so I was very happy 😙, I usually cannot do the roll up on my own without using a bit of momentum .. Thank you very much for all your classes x

Great to hear you enjoyed the addition of the weights, Caroline. Try your roll-down/ up with a flat towel/cushion/blanket behind your lower back. It allows your lower spine to roll into something and may help you rolling down and up more smoothly :) give it a try. 🙏🏼😊🙏🏼

At the beginning I thought that this workout would be too easy and I wanted to switch to heavier weights, but after a few minutes I was happy I didn't :D. This was an interesting set of exercises, I will definitely be coming back to this video!

This evening my daughter (3 lbs) and I (2lbs)did this wonderful weights workout together-Real fun quality time together with my 19 year old💗As with all your videos,Katja, I love your Perfect explanations-so easy to follow! Thank you, Katja! I prefer to lift weights but really felt the need to stretch today. This was a perfect combo. Would you recommend increasing the weight incrementally? I used two pound weights today but would love to work up to ten pound weights.

🙏😊🙏 My preference is to use lighter weights for these Pilates exercises. But if it feels good for you and you are not tensing elsewhere unnecessary, you can certainly build up...
