In this video, i will show you Fuel Injection cleaning in less than 5 Minutes , how to Clean the fuel injection of any car in less than 5 minutes Directly without disassembling any injections, it will be direct injection cleaning by connecting carb cleaner can to injector rail, and staring up the engine BUT keep in mind to remove the fuel pump fuse or the fuel pump harness, like i did, because we don't need fuel pump to push gasoline, the fuel line is disconnected, carb cleaner can connected instead with an adapter
this is the easiest way of HOW TO clean injection Directly without disassembling of any car
Half of carb cleaner can can give you best results, and if you of you do it with the whole can, even better

    I agree, my fuel line is buried so I have to do the injectors individually with the battery... Question can I use small cables with a switch on a spare car battery or should I get a smaller battery for this job?

  • @Ljosi

    @Ljosi

    Жыл бұрын

    @@ijmcnaught you can do it with the car battery because any load only takes as much amps as it needs regardless of how much more the battery can provide (it's only bad if the battery has less amps than what the load needs, an injector needs like maybe 0.01 Amp while the battery can provide 50+ Amps). As for the voltage, it always has to match or be very close (injector needs ~12V and battery delivers ~12V so it's fine, although the injector can withstand anything from 9V to 20V)

    Cleaning is more important for unclogging or un-sticking injectors, which are misnamed. They don't "inject"; they are fuel valves. Outside of an engine, the evenness of the spray pattern it's just an indication that the flow though the valve is not impeded .The spray pattern isn't as important to combustion as the correct and consistent volume passed per pulse-second. The intake airflow and compression cycle of a running engine does most of the dispersion. Done in a car, the depressurized rail still has gas in it, just no pressure to allow it through the misnamed injectors. Cranking the car with the fuel pump not running will alternately push against and suck on open injectors. Allowing the car to run until the volume within the rail is consumed and it's running on only cleaner is what you want. Let it run to stalling with the cleaner can attached then sit for 5-15 minutes before re-attaching the fuel line and starting. This will give concentrated cleaner in the fuel rail more time to dissolve any remaining varnish within the rail and injectors.

    Hi, nice video, thanks for this! One comment - according to my own experience, in serious cases when inner deposits couldnt be removed/ passed through, also opposite direction of cleaning flow should be considered. Based on my own case, when very old fuel filter got rusted and small rust particles clogged injectors... First it was very hard to find the the right cause as many different error messages. But, of course, opposite cleaning method supposes injectors removal.

    No need to go under the hood and disconnect the fuel line. A can of BG 44K in the fuel tank cleans everything the fuel touches. The whole fuel system and exhaust valves. Since it has no alcohol, this is expected to be more effective than alcohol-based counterparts like S F in getting rid of engine buildups. BG 44K in 20 gallons, and run down to 1/4 tank before next fill up. Better than S F..... pale oil, (light mineral oil), naphtha, and isopropyl alcohol (IPA) formula. Make your own. lol Have you ever seen a bent value from being too aggressive with the trigger and hydrolocking the cylinders? This is why pros use a proper tool that atomizes the liquid to about the same size as what comes out of an injector. BTW, many years ago, BG 44K was a warranty approved solution for Mazda/Ford engines that had engine knock due to carbon build up on the piston. And if done at a dealership complaint was N/C until the warranty was up and until an engine redesign fixed it. The simple method that works for me every other oil change.

    When I’m going to change the spark plugs I find it a good time to clean injectors. I pull the fuel pump fuse spray PB blaster in the cylinders, then spin the engine over coating everything in PB blaster. I let it soak over night. Then replace the old plugs and let the engine run for 15 minutes burning off all the PB blaster. After that I replace the old plugs with new ones. PB blaster penetrates, lubricates and eats away carbon build up on injectors and valves. Straight carb cleaner is dry and dissolves all the lubricants on your cylinder walls making your cylinders super dry after ignition.

    @@Mario_Lopez34 If you're asking about B12 Chemtool. It will clean most of anything in regards to the fuel system. Marvel Mystery Oil added to the engine oil is a great addition as well. Just add the Marvel Mystery Oil a few days before your oil change. If you're having a serious problem I recommend adding B12 Chemtool to a 1/4 a tank of gas and run that down until the gas light comes on. Do that a couple of times If that does not correct it, you need to probably take it to a reputable mechanic.

    I've started getting a problem on these cold mornings with my 2007 corolla verso 2.2 Diesel will start the first time without a problem and idle normally. After about one minute or so warning light will show up on the dash than fter another 30 seconds the engine cuts out. When the engine dies, I can restart again without a problem and the whole scenario starts over this happen until the engine warms up. once the temperature reaches 60 and the blue light goes off the car works fine the rest of the day. I cleaned the EGR, polished the glow plugs and tested them, put a new fuel filter, tried a working SCV from my mate's car, and did a full tank with fuel treatments. None of the above-mentioned worked however the car performance is much better. I tried to warm up the fuel rail line with a hot cloth soaked in hot water and will top it with hot water every now and then and the car did not cut off but won't drive as normal unless the engine itself is warmed up. Once it is warmed up it runs fine. Any idea what else could it be? Thank you

    Well, I have to thank you so much really well made video, simply straight to the point with a novel budget savvy solution to a other wise costly problem, seems like a priceless pro life tip, I have a little 2004 Peugeot 206 i'm doing a little bit of engine restoration, Its a little TU3JP 1.4 8v, Its cambelt unfortunately snapped and a few valves were bent, but I've replaced the valves, and fitting all new gaskets and seals, Inc valve stem seals, I've been wishing I could afford new injectors or have mine cleaned to top off the work of seating all new valves and readjusting valve openings etc, further along I expect I might replace fuel pump and other things to ensure it is running at its best. but Ive already spent more than the lil thing is worth since owning it, I just don't want to part with it, I'd rather put a bit more money into it as can't afford a new car, one trouble is, being a home mechanic, a bit inexperienced, I just realised recently that as it's sat there for a long while I should apparently have covered the end of the fuel line, if you read my comment please would you answer me, what problems could that cause? Would it be rust in petrol tank or something? Not even sure if it has metal petrol tank or not to be honest.

  • @tejpor

    @tejpor

    2 жыл бұрын

    If you experience rust in the fuel system, the inside wall of the fuel tank is damaged. It is more dangerous to pierce due to rust. This can happen if the fuel tank is only half or almost empty during the winter. In this case, there is a risk of condensation on the inside wall of the fuel tank. The water first starts to collect at the bottom of the tank, which if it is high enough the pump will start to absorb. My car (peugeot 1007 1.4HDi) has a water sensor in the filter. If you have received feedback on this, it should be corrected as soon as possible; the tank as well.

    I use the fuel pressure gauge port to introduce the cleaner into fuel rail /injectors using piece of hose having threaded connector. I fill the system with cleaner - let it soak a while - disable fuel pump - run engine using pressure from cleaner can. Soaking really helps a lot. Also.. I've jogged stuck fuel pumps loose by pressurizing fuel lines at fuel gauge port.
