Welcome to "How Do You Read It?", a new Substack channel dedicated to reading, analyzing, and discussing Genesis and other great literature. Follow the above link to watch the first two lectures for free!
Supplementing his Hillsdale College Online Course on Genesis [watch here before diving into HDYRI: online.hillsdale.edu/landing/...], Professor of English Dr. Justin Jackson will slowly work through Genesis and occasionally detour to discuss related literature, both ancient and modern. After spending good time in Genesis, we’ll move on to other biblical texts or great literature.

You are being so humble, and this is the trait our Lord wants us to take, and not try to be a " Know it all" We know that Dr. Justin Jackson is very learned in his subject and understand well what the bible says. It is wise of us to learn from those like him, and there are not too many, so we must be careful who we follow. The main thing is our thirst for learning. People who cannot read or write are wise in many other ways, I have seen this often, Never worry wisdom is not always from knowledge. Some are academically smart and yet really do not have commonsense. Never put yourself down, but yet never stand up too high, What happens is like the 'Tower Of Babel' we get ' the people' are thrown down, and wonder why later. Cain could not stand up to his gifts to God, as much as his brother Able and so he killed him, (jealous and egotistical) and that is evil in Gods sight, so when we 'humbly' are willing to see and know people who are more learned than we are, that is a gift all by itself! What is wonderful is that we can learn from the others, and we can find our way no matter what! "God brought us to it, and He will bring us through it" As the message states. He will help us, learn it, as he pleases. He brings people like Dr Justin Jackson to help us, We are here to learn. You can learn it and not even need to read it!

Melchizedek is Yeshua himself. Which is how Christ was able to tell those kenite Pharisees “Abraham was proud to see me in his day”. But this man is not but 30 years old 😂😂😂 smh. He had no beginning no end from the land of peace. Its not rocket science
