Can somebody help me out with this? Is he saying that Adam blamed Eve, and Eve blamed the serpent? In other words, Adam didn't step up for Eve, nor Eve for Adam, the way they should have for each other? Someone please tell me I got it right, because that makes sense to me!

In Genesis ch1 verse 27, it says God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. First the words he and him are lowercase which I heard from someone, that indicates the text referring to satan. As in EL meaning a god not ELOHIM Thee one true God. Can you clarify? The word el is also used to refer to false gods, so the context determines whether Elohim means "God" or is better understood as "gods" (elohim).

So the Hebrew translation of Genesis 1:1 using Elohim is meant to convey the verb its alongside being creation or bara'. With that being said, the plural nature of the title of God in this case seems to refer to the majestic qualities exemplified by the action being creating heavens and earth. The New Catholic Encyclopedia acknowledges that the plural ’Elo·himʹ as used at Genesis 1:1 “always takes a singular verb, indicating that, like the royal "we", the plural of excellence, not number, is meant.”-Second Edition, Volume 6, page 272 Also, The opinion of lowercase letters identifying satan that you heard about doesn't align with the rest of the account. One reason being that the first Human pair were meant to subdue the earth and peacefully enjoy life, having qualities like their creator that allowed the capacity of love, wisdom and justice make sense. If God created them in the image of the Devil (Hebrew meaning slanderer) he would be giving them an evil purpose. Just in case it's misunderstood, Verse 26 when God refers to making man in "our image" the words stated at Proverbs 8:30 describing what most scholars agree to be the "the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation"(Colossians 1:15) as in Proverbs "beside him as a masterworker". This image and job of masterworker in creation could only be attributed to Jesus in his prehuman existence with God in the heavenly realm, NOT satan the devil. Thank you to whoever read all of this lol

Does Adam and Eve go to heaven or hell

  • @_thomas1031

    Ай бұрын

So to answer first, the word Hell needs to be clarified. [Collier’s Encyclopedia (1986, Vol. 12, p. 28) says concerning “Hell”: “First it stands for the Hebrew Sheol of the Old Testament and the Greek Hades of the Septuagint and New Testament. Since Sheol in Old Testament times referred simply to the abode of the dead and suggested no moral distinctions, the word ‘hell,’ as understood today, is not a happy translation] Put simply, the Hell mentioned in many bibles isn't a fiery place of torment for souls but just the common grave of mankind, if you die technically your in Sheol/Hades, the inactivity of life. With that being said, Adam and Eve aren't being burned in hell, that translation and teaching is proven as aligning with pagan and early Christiandoms teachings that prioritized punishment rather than the truthful meaning. Also if your thinking of Matthew 5:30 where Jesus warns of the outcome of deliberate sin being you would be pitched into "hell" as many translations say, the Greek word there was actually Gehhena, the name of a literal valley in Isreal where trash was burned. So Jesus was clearly using it as symbolism for the destruction or condemnation of a person if they willfully and unrepentantly committed adultery, a serous sin mentioned in Torah/Hebrew Bible repeatedly. With this all in mind, it wouldn't be unsound for us to say that Adam and Eve because of their unrepentant attitude and deliberate sin, wouldn't be given an outcome of eternal life (a.k.a the promise they were given of they obeyed) and instead be relegated to a state of Gehenna/sheol where they no longer have the hope of life but are instead dead forever. Roman's 6:23 and Genesis 3:19 aid in understanding the fate of Adam.

I think the case can be made that they went to heaven. God showed them mercy by kicking them from the Garden, and after they left they still worshipped God and taught their children to worship Him.

I wonder if you can help me & tell me what God is trying to tell me? I was born and raise in communist country were religions were forbitten! I grew up atheist! Through bullets I escaped communist Iron Fist! Now I know God was watching over me while dictator's were man hunting us! When legally I immigrated to the USA, that year after we got baptized my husband and I we decided to get married in church! That night God spoke to me on my dream and I see Jesus. If the entire world go on one direction and say Jesus don't exit, I'm going on another side and say Jesus exit because I have seen him not one but twice, I see john the Baptist, I see rapture, 25 yrs I was democrat I asked God who to vote for God showed me Trumps name, so I end up voting for Trump twice. On Feb 2022 I left the democratic party because God open my eyes, I relisted that you cant be a Christian and a democrat! Sadly many Christians don't know they are being manipulated and lied by democrats!
