Nice job buddy. I like it. One piece of advice, the seat may be too high, I have tried mine with seat about that high and was too unstable (only time I ever fell off my boat) and most importantly was when rowing with the oars it was really hard to bring the handles down far enough to get them out of the water for my next stroke. Might be a way to extend the oar post high enough but I just went without the seat to avoid the extra modification. Hope it works the way you got it, or hope my input helps. Good luck, catch the big ones!

@@ivideowildlifeTV cool, BTW I'm actually sitting under the stars right now in my Elk county so I can be in position by first light to hopefully achieve what I have spent over 10 years trying to do which is get video of an Elk shedding it's antlers naturally , on public land, and without human influence. It's never been done! I'll share if I achieve it. Happy

Hey there. Nice video. Liking the platform you've made, especially as it extends to the rear of the seat frame. A few questions: did u consider extending the platform towards the back to cover beneath the wire basket/tray to have more coverage and prevent losing anything in basket? Or even a similar base for the basket itself? Is 1/2 inch thickness of plywood strong enuf? Would appreciate if you could provide the dimensions of the Pvc pipe and joints in your comments? Again, nice work. Tight lines!

I chose to keep the platform in the front to try to keep wait forward for the trolling motor, 6’ of 1 1/4” pipe will cover you, just set the Tees in place & make the measurements.1/2” plywood seems plenty sturdy to me👍🏻
