This song is timeless!! Sooo many teenage memories! Rock on gurl!!!😘😘😘😙😙😙😉😉😉😉
Many great memories rolling down the road in my 70 SS Chevelle with this song blasting on the radio....
The sexual connotation is spot on being that that's what the song is about.😎
Lonesome Dave, the singer/guitarist, was ridiculously talented. There were so many great singers who could also play guitar back then. I should add, Rod Price was doing the slide guitar. He was unreal. These guys helped fuel FM radio back in the day.
Saw these guys with Bad Company. One of the best concerts I have ever seen

I've seen them individually, but not together. That's a show I'd have loved to see!

Saw them in '79 Astrodome Texas Jam. Don't remember the opening band, then Blue Oyster Cult, Foghat, Reo Speedwagon & Heart. Great show!
So good to see Foghat getting more love from the reationverse. This was one of my favorite bands back in the day. Rod Price was the guitarist, “Lonesome” Dave Peverett the vocalist. Real head banging arena rock, it's been one of my biggest regrets that I didn't see them live back in my 70's/80's concert going days. You are right this is a real road song, get in your vehicle, turn it up and fly. They have so many more great songs, I love Honey Hush, Midnight Madness, Live Now Pay Later and they have such a great sense of humor in their songs such as Somebody's Been Sleeping in My Bed and Boogie Motel. Such a fantastically entertaining band.

I saw them Live in Denver in 1984 and they blew the roof off! Loved it
Slow Ride. Angela....gets it! 😏
Foghat was derived from the band "Savoy Brown" from England. They were more of a Blues/Rock band in the late 60's early 70's. They changed their name to Foghat and had about 12-15 great Rock songs in the early and mid 70's! They rocked!!!

I saw them on this tour in '75. 2nd row center !! Montrose opened. Then Foghat. Black Oak Arkansas closed. Monster show !!
Dig it! Seeing this young generation, get down to the groove. Thumbs up!!
Who doesn't love to go for a SLOW RIDE?😍❤💋
I think you nailed evaluating that song in your mention of foreplay... lol You are so quick with lyrics, and so fun when you get just a tad embarrassed! Excellent reaction!😆
That smile says it all Slow Ride, Take it Easy 👌😎👍
One of the best reactions ever . . . The song performed live was truely amazing .
Great song always think of a good times.
Yeah, Foghat! They will rock your World my dear, next by them try I Just Want to Make Love to You, another great song. They always brought their A Game when I saw them, great stuff. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎶
With this song blasting,my ‘68 Chevy Malibu convertible became a chick magnet back in the late 70’s.👍

Ditto for mine!
First concert I took my wife to back in 1976 at Bradley University Fieldhouse . Fantastic band and show .
This was one of the coolest songs that I jammed to rolling down the highway on a warm summer southern night in my black '78 Bandit Trans Am with the Ttops out, damn the memories - PEACE LOVE n HIPPYNESS ✌💖☮
There’s the Smile that says it all, She like’s It!!!!! I remember Skating at the rink to this!!!!
"Doing bongs", rock T-shirt, feathered bangs parted in the middle. It was a nice life, back in the day. 🥴
Yep 1977 Super Bowl of Rock 1…..saw Foghat ,J Giels Band,Climax Blues Band…..Emerson Lake and Palmer were the headliners Soldiers Field Chgo!
So many memories to this song, especially with one special lady woo. I grew up in the greatest time
The song may have been out since the mid-1970's, and it still rocks. Close to 50 years old, and they still put it in the recent Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack.
Amazing Rollerskate Song...Great memories Excellent reaction
Featured in TOP GUN MAVERICK. Cool Guy mentions that it’s his favourite song when he hears it playing.
Slow ride always gives me the chills!!!
Another prime example why, with the exception of disco, the 70’s had THE best music. Seriously, think about it. Just look at this young lady’s reaction. I can’t wait for her reaction to I Just Wanna Make……😁
I loved how you played the full version, as opposed to the radio edit that fades out about halfway through.
Did just want you said lol. Cruised back in the 80s with windows down through town with that song blasting
Welcome to the 70's... And real music 🎵🎶
One of the most seventies songs of all time. You used to hear this song blasting out of cars all the time in the seventies.
That's a hell of a description Angela!!LOL!👍👍😛😛😛😛😛
One of the top 5 coolest songs in the seventies I remember when a song came out we bought a new track of it and then we cruised the 4 Lauderdale strip in a 68 javelin Party on my friends
rocked out with this one before I was even a teenager. Still killer tune.
I was in high school in the mid 70's , drove a 68 camaro rs and cranked foghat : Live on 8-track. those were the days. and yes , this song is all about doing the horizontal bop.
Slow Ride also known as the “cowgirl position”…giddy up!!
Many speeding tickets were given out because of this song!!
You rock I seen fogat and krocus at legend city in PHOENIX. Had to be around 1980.

i was at that concert will have to look through scrap book see if i still have the ticket stub with date
Even though it was an olde song and I knew it I still think of Dazed and Confused movie and Wooderson every time I hear it.
I enjoy your reactions Angela, you are one of a kind!!!!!!!!
Rod Price, one of the all-time great slide players. One of the great rock bands of the 1970s! And a bit underappreciated. RIP Lonesome Dave and Rod Price. ☹
FOGHAT: "Stone Blue" "Third Time Lucky"
Ahh the 70s ! they were good weren't they ?
OH yes!!! Feels so good. the end is so hard and so deeep. OOoo, it hurts so good.
I love when they don’t see it coming😂❤
This song is definitely about love Making. Back in the 70's "Slow Ride" was not about cruisin' in your car. It was about the "Cow Girl" starting out slow ridin' then building... I'm sure you get it! 😉
I remember buying this on 8-track. Time is moving so fast now.
Wonderful girl
Lonesome Dave-vocals and guitar-Rod Price-guitar-Tony Stevens -bass & Roger Earl-drums
No words brilliant....
I used to play this song on my air guitar 🎸 back in the day 😎🤣
The guitar you thought was a voice, that killed it the whole song, was the late Rod Price. He was one of the best slide guitar players in R&R.
0:51 Realizes she heard this song before and likes this song!!
Yup, you nailed it. Lol
Great reaction! This came out in '75 my junior year of high school. I remember riding down the road in my '65 Cyclone with their 8-track in and firing up the Kracos. Another song to check out is the live version of "Come Again" by Damn Yankees. They were considered a super group with Tommy Shaw from Styx, Jack Blades from Night Ranger, Ted Nugent, and drummer Michael Cartellone who would later play for Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Foghat "It hurts me too"
I saw them do this in concert when the album was first released. Incredible show. Incredible band. LOL. You figured out this song!!! One of my all-time favorite rock bands.
You are very entertaining! Thanks for sharing!
Good tune..also you should give a listen to Rainbow "All Night Long" & "Since You've Been Gone" totally rockin tunes.
Saw these guys in 1977, 1982 and 1999
Foghat definitely a great rock group from the 70’s
Angela is such a BABE!!!
Spot on interpretation 👍
A Rock Classic. One of the best slide guitar songs ever!
Saw them once great reaction!!
i see them in 1983 wow soooooooooooooooooooooo loud
Finally got to see them in 2000. Foghat Live one of my favorite Live albums of all time.
Teen me big 70s headphones on in my bedroom with this 8track blasting, never gets old! Thanks Angela!
THATTTTT WAS THE SEXUAL ROCK SONG OF THE 70'S BABY!!! 😊YOU KNOW THE RHYTHYM IS RIGHT!😊 I FIGURED YOU'D ENJOY IT.
Bad Company "Rock and Roll fantasy "
nothing like a beautiful lady rocking to foghat slow ride
OMG, Angela..This song's been used in soooo many ads including: Dodge Trucks, MIller Beer, Harley Davidson, etc. As for me, I saw foghat live in Dec, 80-- We got busted by the cops being rowdy after the show, wound up doing 60 days for disturbing the peace and reisisting arrest--And I'd do it again for the show Foghat gave us that night!!
Perfect explanation 🤘🤘🤘
I saw these guys in a tiny little bar in Austin,,,,93ish. They BLEW THE ROOF OFF,,,💥💥💥👍😎
Oh yes. No comment. Lol. Or on a Harley. Songs from my day.
Saw Fog Hat in concert in the mid 70's.👍
They play this song at the end of the movie Dazed and Confused. Great movie with all great songs from the 1970's. It is a must see movie.
70 and first of the 80s was the best time
Your metaphoric interpretation of the song was spot-on (and intentional from the band). Love this song. Great reaction! This whole album was fire (Fool For the City, 1975). The title track ("Fool For the City"), "Terraplane Blues," "Save Your Loving (For Me)" are all worthy of your reaction time.
What a sexy reaction ! Your best reaction so far . Amazing song
Lonesome Dave Peverett....vocals/lead guitar
Had the album in high school
yes seen them in 1980
Awesome jam yeah 👍😎👌🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎤😜
Fantastic song!! Great to see you enjoy this so much!!!
If you ever watch the movie "Dazed and Confused", it is the last song they include in the soundtrack. Gotta check out "Stranglehold" by Ted Nugent (The Motor City Madman).
Road tune worthy
Mid 70's late night party jam..your analogy is exactly right..muscle cars blasted this song
Rod Price was the guitarist. He was a really great slide guitar player, underrated. He was great on this one. This was a gleefully naughty song, we all loved it back in the day.
Rod Price lead 🎸🎸🎸🎸 RIP 😔
Great pg breakdown love ur channel
Guitarist/slide guitarist Rod Price, one of the best in the business, Along with singer-guitarist Dave Peverett... R.I.P. guys.
They open for Stevie Nicks in the early 80s!
You nailed it!!! Epic song! 💖✨
Fun one, Angela! Great job! 😄
A cool rockin' blues band. I saw them open for ELP in Chicago in '77, they nearly stole the show.
Ah the songs of my youth.😂
🔥🔥🔥🔥
New Artist for you I think. Robin Trower: Bridge of Sigh or Too Rolling Stoned. Think you'll love them.
