Luv the sax in this song. 1982-1983: Maybe the greatest 2-year stretch in the modern music-era.

Stevie ray Vaughan plays guitar on this whole album, David wanted him to stay but he went solo, hardly any one knows that is SRV, one of the greatest guitarists ever

Who would've thought to combine Bowie with the pop/funk of Nile Rodgers, jazz drumming of Omar Hakim, and the blue/rock guitar playing of Stevie Ray Vaughan . . . outstanding reaction review! "Let's Dance" with the "China Girl".

My favorite DB song. RIP Olivia Newton John; I'm 58 years old and absolutely was gutted by the news. A childhood crush from 1974- 82 that never really went away completely

David Bowie is my musical guilty pleasure. Gone too soon. I loved his music since I was 13 , growing up in the 80’s. Thank you for your glam, groove, dance, years of fashion. R.I.P. David. Modern Love so cool. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So glad you got round to David Bowie - what a boppy tune! He reinvented himself so many times. This might be his most commercial period but his songs are great from all eras. Maybe you could try 'Let's Dance' from this album too..

This album came out when I though Bowie’s career was done. He completely went in a new direction and it was great. Really surprising at the time.

I think Bowie should have done something different after this album, AS HE ALWAYS DID, but he did tonight, and I will never understand why, it was an album without desire, all covers of the songs he did with iggy pop, he did loving the alien and blue jean, but the rest... no, it was the perfect time to make a masterpiece and for everyone to see it, the worst decision of his career was to make tonight after lets dance

@@DayOneReacts yes, Bowie got him just as SRV was starting out. He also plays the guitar on the hit songs "Let's Dance" and "China Girl" from the same album. If you're familiar with SRV's tone, you'll totally understand it's him when you listen to these songs.

Great content and super reactions , I enjoy your channel so much. If I could ask you to listen to "Take me Back" by Noiseworks (Australia) The Acoustic version by the lead singer Jon Stevens is even better. Also agree , being in OZ - RIP OMJ. She was my idol back in the time, I was lucky to see her from the to time. Such a lovely person, sadly will be missed.
