Well then he must have done a good job with the instruments because they always sounded incredible. I was a Foghat fan in the Seventies and went to quite a few of their shows in the Southern California area. One of my favorite venues was the San Bernardino Swing Auditorium. It should have been named The San Bernardino Hearing Loss Auditorium. But I loved it. I have to say there were always a lot of really totally drunk people at these concerts.

That moment when you hear the line "slow ridin' woman you're so fine" and the "ah hah" moment comes across your face! LOL!!

Memories of a time in my boyfriend's (now husband) basement when we were about 17. His Mom was upstairs! Put this song on and "moved to the music" Especially the last half(ish) of the song. I'm with you on this, I used to be a great fan of No Life Shaq, but he began playing only Hip-Hop, and Rap.... In the beginning when he first started out, he was broadening his horizon, but then he got STUCK!!! It's unfortunate because I really enjoyed his outlook on different music genres, and his great personality. I'm no longer a subscriber of Shaq, I do however swing over to his channel once in awhile to see if he's still Stuck. I hope he turns it around, because I really liked the guy!!

I was literally 13 years old in 2000 and started listening to Foghat. One of the most underrated bands. Check out High on Love on the Stone Blue album.

I remember dancing to this song in a nightclub in Sarasota, Florida on July 3/4th. The following morning got up and went to Tampa Bay Stadium for the 1976 Bi-Centennial 4th of July concert with Loggins and Messina, Fleetwood Mac, and the Eagles. Now that was a great day! This song has continued to be one of my favorites. Oh yeah, my divorce became final that day as well. As I said a great day.

We were yelling "Slow Ride" from the beginning (we were pretty trashed lol) ...pretty soon we heard everyone around yelling "Slow Ride"....That is when the singer Dave Peverett said (in an English accent ) "ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, I F'ing hear ya"...then tore into Slow Ride. They have some great blues tunes...but some other good rockers are "I Just wanna make love to you" and "Fool for the City". A great beautiful ballad id "Third time Lucky".

You know i forgot how good this song was! Growing up they played the living shit out of this so much you couldnt stand to hear it again! But with fresh ears it sounds great again! This is the ending song to the movie “Dazed and Confused”. Driving in a convertible at dawn, (after an all-nighter) through the Texas Hill Country. Heaven. You can’t get any better than that. This was Matthew McConaughey’s first movie. From the edgy avant-garde director Richard Linklater- both of them from Austin. That’s where I live. It came out in ‘91. Ya gotta watch this. Side note on the song you just reacted to: You put on your foghat while you listened to Foghat. It's a word the lead singer and his brother invented while playing scrabble. When they were getting high they were putting on their foghat.
