Thank you Anthony for posting these videos on the MKS-DLC32 v2.1 board! I am in the process of upgrading my K40 with this board and for me it has been a real slog. I am thinking of using FluidNC and your detailed videos have been very helpful to my understanding of the work that is required. They have given me a much better grasp of the board and FluidNC software.

Thanks for the video! I am fully supporting FluidNC, the 6 axis Universal CNC board and Bart Dring's work! Great stuff. Let's help get the DIY CNC community behind this concept.

I have gone from standard grbl to fluid nc but I notice a change in the management of laser power... for engraving on methacrylate I previously used 200mm/sec 20 power and now I have to use only 5 power because with 20 it perforates the material, It seems to me that power management is not delicate... Can someone tell me how to solve this please.

Hello, I have the same card. The Z axis is off and I can't move the motor. When I try to update the software to solve the problem, it does not see the card. Any idea how to fix the problem?

I've discovered that the ESP32 only needs pin 0 to be grounded the first time it is programmed, thereafter it can be programmed without grounding.

Hey man, thanks a lot for sharing those videos! I am trying to run a core XY pen plotter with 2 TMC2209 and a MKS dlc32 2.1 but I am having some trouble with the servo to lift the pen up and down. In the examples configurations file I couldn't figure out how to make a propper config.

Hi Anthony! Please tell me, what exactly makes FluidNC better for CNC than the default firmware? I want to build a small CNC milling machine for a hobby, and am wondering if I should reinstall the board firmware.

There are pros and cons. FluidNC has much more functionality but default MKS supports a screen.

For What I was doing,, I needed 2 y motors with 2 endstops (one on each side) along with an X-axis and it's own endstop. I also have a polarbear CNC which I modified and I use fluid NC's custom buttons to focus and draw.

Yeah the screen thing is not FluidNC's fault. The MakerBase TFT is not open to customization as they don't provide access to the tools to 'reprogram' the firmware on that screen. I know, I asked a few years back.

Check your limit switch wiring. Chances are you're grounding out the 5v and browning out the board.
