Worth mentioning why they are doing this Eurovision special of Beste Zangers is because this years competition is in little less than 2 weeks from now, and the last one was won by the Netherlands 2 years ago since the 2020 edition was cancelled because of covid, and thus this years competition will be held in the Netherlands.

And it's more then one day. There are also two semi-finals. The artists perform a lot in these in two weeks. They are now on day 3 of first rehearsals, then the second rehearsals and the jury show and a dress rehearsal, after all that, the live show is happening. And that's just for the first semi-final.

She toured with that band .....right before the pandemic .....theres some nice videos of it.

Euphoria in my opinion is the second best winner ever (waterloo is the best). Floor is amazing

Floor KILLED IT!

I love this so much, unsurprisingly! I should check out the original for comparison too. I try not to put Floor on a pedestal, but she's a major inspiration as a singer. And I'm SO hyped for the virtual Nightwish concert! My tickets were a birthday present from my parents.

Hang on, the band is playing live in the studio in front of the B.Z assemblage, while Floor is singing a) a pre-recorded video in her own studio, or b) singing live via a live link to the B.Z studio,....what a logistical nightmare for all musicians involved. Also, if Floor has re-arranged the song to her own 'style', have the live band rehearsed the new arrangement with her, or is everyone just hoping it all comes together? Phew!

the origional song is from Loreen she is from Sweden and she won the eurovision songcontest with it in 2012 this episode is about songs from the songcontest because in may there is a new edition from the eurovision songcontest in the Netherland because they won the last time with Duncan Laurence singing Arcade last year there was no songcontest because of the corona virus but this year it is on that is why they made this episode of beste zangers ineurovision songcontest style

this is a special edition of beste zangers the song festival is in Rotterdam this year and this edition has nothing to do with the normal shows of beste zangers accept there are a couple of singers in this show that preform in previous shows

I cannot wait for the Nightwish show.....and then to have Epica announce they have a show that is the month after.........I feel like I'm winning some kind of lottery. I have never looked forward to anything with such anticipation in my life.

In fact Nightwish had popular vote with "Sleepwalker" but group of Finnish music "experts" decided to send another artist to the contest. And that alternative artist obviously performed poorly.

They had an amazing cast for this special and the cherry on top obviously was Floor... what a powerhouse she is. And Rolf.. i love that guy's reactions, he's such a big fan of her, he never can hide his excitement hehehe Loreen did an amazing job with her song at the Eurovision song contest but Floor?... Floor would not be Floor if she didnt outperform the original singer (and she did.. once again) The original song is more a Euro-Dance song, Floor added Rock to it and lifted the song to a new level.
