HAHA!!! It's funny 'cause it's true.

Vocal perfection is easy to find. So many vocally perfect singers out there. But noone has this rich sprinkle of spice on top of that like Floor. As I watch every little movement of every muscle in her face, of her breathing, her movement, I am amazed how she can control all of that to generate this very personal touch, this feeling of affection towards her audience, but also towards herself. You cannot sing like this if you do not basically love your audience and yourself.

It gets very emotional sometimes. So yeah, she sings every week - except the one time she was in the spotlight. Hope i explained it well :)

Learning phonetics is an important skill for classically trained singers. The most important classical pieces are written in German and Italian, which obviously not everyone speaks. Floor is incredible, but she has so much more to offer than studying phonetics.

I watched this for the first time just now on my phone whilst cooking dinner. It was so good that I forgot about the food and burnt it - and I just don't care! Floor is amazing, and Beste Zangers is the best TV music show in the world, no question!

Floor before getting on stage: 'I am of course singing this for Rolf, but I also have a huge following in Latin America, so I find it very special to sing this song for them as a gift" Floor is so pure. ♥

@@CavemanJesus4Life I know she can sing in Dutch, English, Finnish, Swedish, Italian and German, but she doesn't speak spanish at all and that's why this is impressive. It's the first time she sings in spanish. She made the typical little mistakes any non Spanish person makes when trying to speak spanish, like saying "estás muy buen" instead of "estás muy bien" (both words sound very similar and mean the same,"good", but are used in a different way), and the "j" in Spanish has a more raspy sound, like you have someting in your throat and when non Spanish people try to say it the do it in a softer way, anyway, small details, she did a great job.

So indeed the appreciation for this band is really important for the artists. Without a band you get a tape. I prefer live. Don't you? And that this band can replace a lot of bands who are playing and performing badly. Even when those bands are professionals.

Maar ook t intieme van liedjes kunnen zij goed vertolken (eigenlijk in al die seizoenen een TOP band). Ik denk zelfs dat ze live de artiesten van t ESF volgend jaar zouden kunnen begeleiden zonder enige moeite. Mee eens?

@@jasonme3557 whitney houston ring a bell? or many many others? while theres plenty of throwaway pop that has its moment of fame and then disappears, there is also plenty of pop that stands the test of time - and thats usually where the talent is found. not all pop has talent, just like not all metal has talent. floor is definitely a very talented singer, but it doesnt take away from that to admit that there are plenty of other really talented singers, too, even in pop. you may like floor best, but to say that she is leagues above any other singer in talent is just silly.

I think you are exaggerating nobody in the Netherlands knew her. Most people who are into symphonic/progressive/power metal/rock know exactly who Floor is and what she is capable of. I think the first time I heard Floor was somewhere back in 2001/2002 when I heard the song 'My House on Mars' by Ayreon. At that time I didn't give it much thought but when I was watching the DVD Live on Earth by Star One at a friends place somewhere back in 2003 where Floor and her sister Irene were both on stage I was sold. After that I decided to give After Forever a try and I liked it but not as much as her performances in Star One and Ayreon. I've seen Floor live many times in Ayreon Revamp and Nightwish and I hope to see her live many times in the future :).

Perfecta ejecución y muy versátil, me encanta verla cantar otros géneros de música porque siento que se adapta muy bien y también aporta mucho de su personalidad y estilo operístico y rocker. Discovering Floor was like getting struck by lightning. It was so unexpected. I was immediately drawn into her gorgeous voice and stage presence. So grateful for her talent she shares with the world.

Things I'll always remember from this series: Floor's voice, Emma's beauty (and her voice!), "Onkle Henk", Tim's tears - and Rolf's smile! :-D

Thirty-four years ago I fell in love with the voice of Doro Pesch. Thanks to your voice, I was able to spend the pandemic in Spain in the best way. Today, I hear this song in my language and I can say without fear of making a mistake that I have fallen in love with another great voice again. When angels sing, men cry. Thank you, thank you very much for your voice.

There is no end to her talent! Floor is probably the most versatile female voice in music

Is Bachata, not salsa.

It is not rare to find performances of tecnically perfect latin music by non latin performers (N. K. Cole, D. Krall and so on). But, at the same time, to grasp a whole bunch of feelings that latin songs usually have, and to deliver it mixed with an awesome tecnique, well...THIS is rare. Floor rules!

No solo es el idioma es su impresionante versatilidad y habilidad al cambiar el género y estilo musical, esta mujer un día canta Que se siente, al otro Ghost Love Score y al siguiente Vilja Lied, de un día para otro se transforma en cantante de Ópera, cantante de balada romántica, Cantante de Hard Rock y luego de Prog Metal al más alto nivel, increíble, no recuerdo haber visto o escuchado algo parecido

I don't speak Spanish OR Dutch, yet this is one of my favorite Floor performances ever.

Nightwhish vind ik een fantastische band die goed gebruik maakt van de bijzondere zang kwaliteiten van Floor.Het is toch te gek voor woorden, dat zij via beste zangers bekendheid in Nederland mag verkrijgen. En ik vind het bijzonder knap dat ze in de meeste uitvoeringen met een fleugje heavy metal zingt als het nummer het toelaat. Geweldig.
