@@coolschatten Yeah, about 5000 euros here in Finland. I think that our beloved Floor has a "product placement" deal with AKG. It's so much in front on these videos. I'm not critizising, and she sure has enough currency to buy it (even I have if I want to be a great singer 😲😖). It's just a funny notice. 😅👍

Wonderful reaction - Joost van der Broek has recorded the piano part as they did before (some 15 years ago) when Floor and him were in "After Forever" - Joost is also the grand master aka "LOL" in many of Ayreon composition - you see him (with Floor and Marko, and Anneke van Giesbergen) in Ayreon Universe Concert.- this version really bring tears to my eyes.

Joost is really awesome with his piano-playing. He was also the piano-player when they (Floor and he) performed "Strong" back in the day. And Joost probably tweaked the sound in the studio somewhat. Floor was holding back a lot in this rendition and was still quite far from the mic not to drown out the tender sound of piano being played. :-) The only person who sort of matches Floor´s belting prowess with its additional warmth is Amanda Somerville who also covered this song a few years ago. Well, even more warmth, I guess.

@@JHX1 Indeed, there are many connections :-) and it is such fun to identify them. From the top of my head. Joost was the keyboardist for AF and still works on Ayreon´s projects and now he is also the producer for Epica´s and MaYaN´s albums. He did some work for ReVamp. Floor was the lead vocalist for AF and ReVamp, has been involved with Ayreon for many years, worked with MaYan on the first album. Amanda was the backing vocalist in AF and Epica, is now featured on the last Ayreon´s album and some minor work on MaYaN´s first album. Marcela Bovio has been involved with Arjen on a number of projects, is the backing vocalist for Epica and the lead vocalist (sort of) for MaYaN, and was involved with ReVamp as a vocalist for the second album.

Lovely reaction Tauri. Yes, I was thinking too: "she's gonna do it, she's gonna do it.." and again she DID it. That is such a hard note to hit, without a build up to it. And Joost van den Broek did also an awesome job on the piano. Floor sang it also in After Forever and then Joost also was the keyboardist, playing only the piano in that song. Greetings from the Netherlands. (You can pronounce Joost the "oo"' as "oa" like in roast. Or just the same as in Floor)

Thanks for your reaction, Tauri :) People really criticize the sound quality of the last video? Come on and try to make some better stuff while a pandemic is going on. This is usually the work of people who are specially trained for this. I can't sing like that and with Floor's singing I always feel like she's speaking for my soul. And that's why I love her. Even though I see her on a shaky mobile phone recording, not presented in HD.

I think Floor could sing sub-par and still have an effect at least with me. There ist a certain tonal quality in her voice that instantly hits me no matter what she ist singing. In my lifetime (57 jahre old) Floor und one other singer has had that effect und Floor will forever be my favorite. Oddly enough the other singer ist Sade Adu.

Small language correction the double oo in Dutch as in Floor & Joost is pronounced as the oa in boat. Joost was one of the keyboard-players for here former band After Forever. No, after seeing Joost's name and remembering the VLOG Floor did a while back with him in it discussing her solo project, I think he probably mixes it and Hannes films.
