What is better is subjective. Some people love Tarja and think better than Floor and some think Floor is better. How about we just say they are both great performances so don't get people upset.

@@jerrybk1 It sure is subjective, I started listening to NW with Tarja and think she is great but i allso love Floor. I just think this cover isnt as good as the original. If some snowflake dont agree i dont care if they are upset, its just my opinion and i stand by it.

Floor, Simone, Anneke and Sharon have all had me reaching for the Kleenex - that and a 'gas bill' .....before you were thinking......

The thing is, she can do no wrong because she hasn't thus far done anything wrong. She is so good at what she does, it doesn't occur. It's not just a bias that her admirers have - she really is that good!

Yessss!! Floor was still in Sweden, she could not travel, thats the reason for the split screen...

She couldn’t be there in person because of her surgery ... then she goes and does a performance like that !!! Wow. The Valkyrie Queen strikes again.

You do have to mention they did this with different takes while the other ones have one shot. But thats only to put things into perspective. Great performance: its in fact an advertisement for TV.

I going to start calling Floor, "Queen of the Basement", what this lady and her team can produce from her home is more than magical....

When I first watched her performance, I was crying after the very first sentence she sung. I love this song so much. The original song is a Eurovision Song Contest song, sung by Loreen (Sweden) in 2012 and which won. I'm a huge ESC fan, far before I discovered Nightwish even. This song is one of my top favorite songs ever of Eurovision. And this version is insanely good and as soon as she started singing I got emotional because I love this song so much. She did the song insanely justice.

I really don't think Floor realizes it, but euphoria is what she gives us every time she sings.

Celine Dion WISHES she was this good! Our Floor is superhuman. Great to see Stef Bos - whose "Is Dit Nou Later?" she covered - in the studio.

Every woman wishes they could sing like Floor.. Even the best of the best can't touch floor with a 10 foot pole.. She, Floor is in a league of her own, where no one else is permitted to sing like her or better... Floor is indeed Super human, with super vocals.. Incredible always. She should be given the medal for best voice on the planet.

Celine is good, but unlike Floor I wouldn't want to go out and have a beer with her.

Floor is #1 on You-Tube today.. This was fantastic. Apparently Floor was supposed to be with the Beste Zangers group, but because of her surgery, she had to sing from her barn studio, while the band played live at the Beste Zangers location. It all fit hand in glove and was a perfect performance as usual from our Floor. She is always amazing.

Floor's part is pre-recorded, as is the video (you can easily see that the shots are from at least two different takes if you look at the position of her cape). This doesn't make the performance any worse, but just to mention - a live stream with band and singer in different places is not possible in that quality, as the latencies of the double transmission would make it impossible to sync properly.

props to the tech guys to sinc her singing at home with the guys playing on set. love Rolph from her season there. he's enjoying their shock at hearing her.

This was a one time special episode of Beste Zangers, dedicated to the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. Since The Netherlands are hosting the contest this year (this week!), the singers all sang a winning song rom the past of the contest. Floor chose the winning song of 2012 by Loreen from Sweden. Due to the gal bladee surgery thet she had she wasn’t able to come to the studio, so they brought the show to her instead and she recorded the track in her own studio in Sweden!

This is a special cover from the winning song of the Eurovision Songfestival in 2012 (sung by Loreen from Sweden). Because The Netherlands won the last version of this songfestival (in 2019) it is going to be held in a couple of weeks. So that's the reason why they made a Special from "Beste Zangers", with all former Eurovision hits. And of course Floor should sing this song, as she is the best vocalist of this time. If she would ever participate on Eurovision Songfestival, I'm sure she would blow all the others contestants out of the festival hall.

Well .. if it the right song.. lots of good singers has sung the wrong song...

I think Floor may be the best singer, performer this world has ever produced. Maybe a crazy statement but holy crap she make you feel like nothing else. It's not that she can do no wrong it's that everything she does is so right.

She hits the poor listener like a brick. No matter how bad you feel...listening to Floor cures everything...in 10 seconds. She probably expands my life expectation with 10 years.... The Goddess of voice. Next to being a very nice, down to earth pleasant and wise modest human being.... Just fantastic.

Picture this.. it is late,cold and wet and you need to get out of the Rain. You enter this little pianobar and only a handfull of People sitting there at small round tables listening to a guy playing the piano. You sit down,order a drink and then a Girl Walks on stage steps up to the microphone and before she starts singing her presence allone makes you feel warm inside and somehow all your worries seem to melt like show.. then she starts singing this song 'i lost myself' and you start crying tears of wonder and yoy 'cause you know instantly that an angel came down from heaven ,sent for you and all humanity to spread love and yoy so we can all heal inside and be beter humans..that is what you experience listening to floor singing ' i lost myself ' and 'sweet curse ' x

its actually my favorite song of all eurovision song contest entries ever. sweden won with the singer "Loreen" that contest in 2012 . its a masterpiece. Great to see it sung by our goddess Floor now! we have a show in our country where people sing songs of another person who also attend the show but I guess beste zangers ia about singing random songs of anyone in the world. also HAPPY MOTHERS DAY JEN!!!! ♥

I know exactly what you feel. I feel the same way when I hear her voice!

Floor Janssen has become a force to be reckoned with, so improved has her vocal ability, timing, phrasing, and emotional input now become, that it's impressive to say the least! I agree that her voice brings out the emotions in the listener, whether happy or sad! That is the true mark of a "great" singer, and not many can legitimately lay claim to that ability... thanks JJ for giving us this reaction - right on!

Hello Jen, I hope you and your son are feeling better soon , have a happy mothersday ! Here in Europe we have a yearly songcontest called Eurovision Song contest each European country brings a artist and song from there land , it realy is a huge thing , at the end all country's vote ( people with they'r cellphones and a jury ) The one with most votes is the winner of the year . Euphoria was the song from Sweden in 2012 sung by Loreen , it was by far the winner that year and became a big hit all over Europe , this is Floor's cover of it 😍 The country that wins is the one to organise the contest a year later , this year we The Netherlands havet to organise it because we won in 2019 , 2020 got cancelled because of Corona 😓 . The contest takes place in Rotterdam at the end of May . So you can Imagine we have seen much of former contest and songs lately on Dutch tv , including this song from Floor at a special show from Beste Zangers about the songcontest !

about a month late watching this reaction. all i can say is, i feel you. it took me a while to figure out exactly why floor is my favorite singer i've ever listened too, and i finally put a finger on it. she has the unique ability to make it feel like she is singing to ME, not just singing. i hear songs other singers sing, but with floor, i FEEL them.
