So glad the Mirage F1 is on the way and the only DCS aircraft ever that i will buy at full price. It was the main fighter of my country when I was a boy and the sole reason I wanted to join the air force. My life went another direction, but that dream lingers.

Spent 4 years stationed in Guam, Been dying with anticipation to fly around it again. and see the whole Mariana's area again. Absolutely loved living there.

@@Scott11078 Hell when did they ever dry, it rained 6-9 times a day. Don't miss the giant ass potholes all over the place though. Only place I've seen people get nailed for DUI for driving straight on the road hahaha.

Rod, your Mic Sound is much better today, compared to the previous weeks! - So it is a positive step in the right direction. The Early March videos had sound that felt like you are in a quieter room. Maybe you need a bigger wind cover over your current mic or see if having it a few inchers farther away calms the output down a bit.. Good luck.. Glad you are back after 2 weeks I was starting to getting worried but can understand the "DCS Burnout". That Mirage F1 is looking like it will be a perfect replacement for the F5E. The poor F5E is a little graphically challenged but still very nice to fly.

Guam was one of my favorite Liberty ports when I was on the Kitty Hawk. If they are really making it detailed I hope that means all the easily seen from the shore sunken ships dead Zeros etc.. will be modeled, or atleast some of them. As a matter of fact where we would moor when we'd go there was bracketed by sunken ships. Guam ain't big either they would discourage tourism ahead of our visits. The Kitty Hawk alone was enough to rent all the cars on the island and most if not all hotel rooms. Our escorts had to go to Saipan. I can't wait to see what all they are doing with the Flying Tigers. My great uncle was General Claire Chenault Commander of the AVG.

Sorry Rod, I am afraid your microphone is still scratchy on my speakers. It sounds like there is no bass in speech and that treble is wound right up to maximum, generating a buzz when you raise your voice volume to emphasize a point. I hope that helps. Is it possible to back off on your treble and increase your base as a suggestion?

No you miss the point. I'd be willing to pay the $10 fee to upgrade to the newest version, just like I was willing to do with the A-10. I've owned both it and Black Shark since they came out over a decade ago! I was never looking for a hand out. The versions I have are press versions from over a decade ago, for when I reviewed them for a publication I was working for at the time. Because I had a press version, and owned and played it for over a decade now with no issues...they wouldn't honor letting me PAY the $10 for the upgrade version to the A-10C II Tank Killer. It's petty and just shitty treatment of anyone.

Audio is 100% better. A lot good stuff coming from E D for sure I just hope they fix the crash issues that I would guess 83% of us are having, I never had any on 2.5. But we are in beta and just a bunch of testers Have a great weekend 👍🏻

Not to be too negative, but you did get a free A-10C. So it might be a bit of a stretch to say 5:20 I, like many others, have spent a solid chunk of cash and received exactly nothing for free. That aside, I always enjoy your videos.

I’ve also spent hundreds. All I wanted to do was pay the upgrade price to update my A10, and they treated me shitty over it.

@@rodwhite5274 - think of it as just the cost of doing business look at other businesses... they have to INVEST you don't want to know what I've put into my businesses but hey, that's must then price of the "ticket" so that I can generate income I do heck, you're buying computer gear that costs thousands - think of what you've spent over the years! what's a hundred bucks compared to that??
