I'm just like you dude - this is a chill out game for me. The choppers are very special to me. A free island paradise for me to explore! - I love this game.

The Mariana's is a GREAT map! It is the perfect stand in for ww2 missions and modern. It can be a stand in for a Falklands styled campaign. A great place for Carrier ops! Then there is DCS Liberation! I'm sure the Marian's will be added to it soon and that will be great fun too!

Yeah it’s a pretty good treat for sure and love the reef colors around the shore good shit man 👍🏻 better in 2d of course but G2 it’s okay.

I swan dived twice due to lack of depth perception over water while evading SAMs. Nice map, will be better when it's optimised.

the mirrors take a decent hit on the framerate probably why the huey did so much better, I usually just toggle mirrors off unless I'm actively using them

I’ve honestly never really noticed getting much more by turning mirrors off. But I’ve heard it said more than once

Sadly those weren’t zeros. I also feel ED may have the same issues as 1C, because IL2 doesn’t have them either because there’s not a lot of information out there on them to model them 100% realistically.

@@rodwhite5274 Maybe Ed & 1c could contact the Australian War Memorial they have one complete & intact they also have an ME-262. I do know of one or maybe two flying in the states also. So if they really wanted to they could get enough information to get one in DCS or IL2.

This map finished off what Syria left behind framerate-wise.

There haven't post any recent updates and considering they are handling the most anticipated module out there in the F15 they have disappeared off the radar If anyone can hunt down sim news it's you ! They refuse to ever respond to me, so sadly I'm as limited as you are when it comes to those updates. They trickle out dumb crap like here's a picture of something not done yet, or here's a picture of a flight stick. I wish they'd just complete something instead of showing us how ADD they are and can't stick with one thing at a time lol

Their work is top quality but I wish the F15 was taken on by Heatblur ! Also someone needs to take on the Vietnam era and the F4 Phamtom these are such obvious choices!😐🤘🙏

Huh-huh...you said 'free campaign'... Nice that we'll be able to do naval battles. Still way too much for the F14 however, even on sale ($86 CAD).

Hey Rod, just saw something from the Reapers that might help you FPS in the Marianas map. It was changing the shadow options from “don’t remember what it was called” I think 3D to flat.
