"But was that really needed?" The term "Study level" gives the answer to you. I understand your point of view, and it's totally fine if you don't need this level. But others want just that. Please let that also apply.

Oh I know. I saw it earlier in the day and was like I’ll check after work, if any are left I might bite. Then made the video and saw it was up to $440 ish

IL-2: I must say, I like the view into the developers world. It helps me to waite. And it is very interessting for me, how they reproduce historical places.It let maybe also some spoiled people begin to understand, what hard work is into this products. The F/A-18 Simulation: This small simulated details make the difference between DCS and other Simulators*/Games. Thats why the people pay so much for a Module. IT makes it feel so real. :-) quality > quantity They are the special spice in it. Otherwise stay with the Flaming Cliffs Modules. They are more focused on more handy Fighting and Entertainment. Sorry for my englisch, not native.

It was pretty crappy how they did that.

I just ordered a Constellation Alpha stick and War Bird base. I asked if they could offer a discount if I bought both stick and base as B-Stock. The next day they dropped the price to $197.00 each and I made the buy.

I get it ("...really needed"). I love the detail myself. But...but...I wish that time was spent on AI and performance increases first. I want to be "Wow"'d by the AI as much as the graphics and systems detail. Thanks for the work. Kinda like the different tree types. I just want trees that are representative - I wouldn't know a birch tree if it feel on me and that detail isn't important to the game/sim part of dcS. Yeah, I'm frustrated with Virpil myself, for similar and other reasons. Gear is good but their method of selling the stuff...hmmm.

Yeah that Virpil e-bay stunt is a joke. Either no stock or prices same as on their website (ie way too expensive). They don't even ship to countries like South Africa. Utter waste of time. I'm sticking to my trusty old CH Products, wish they would do a refresh of their software though, still 32-bit

I used to love CH stuff. I used to have a bunch of PCs all with different gear on them back in the day. CH is different but I loved their ForceFX stick more than any at the time. Combined it with the SFS F-15 throttle from Suncom I believe

@@rodwhite5274 Yeah I have tried many expensive options like Thrustmaster Warthog, but every time I end up selling them and re-installing my CH Products (Fighterstick, Pro Throttle, Pro Pedal). There is just nothing that compares with it on versatility, price and compact size. The Warthog is huge, clumsy, noisy and pricey by comparison and everything else lack the sheer number of buttons and hats (and their nice soft clicks) on the CH Products. My only concern is that CH Products is a very old product range and they may stop making them at some point. Virpil would be a nice replacement, but not at FOUR times the price!
