fixing a stipped oil plug on an atv tapping the hole out and getting a bigger plug for it

Another good idea when tapping out an oil pan or differntial or whatever, instead of blowing air through the fill hole while tapping, fill the tap grooves with grease and the tap the hole. The grease catches all the metal shavings and it is easy to clean up :)

I have a99 Kawasaki Mojave and has a stripped oil pan would this work ??

Do you think going from 12 mm hole to half inch would work after trying heliciol ?¿??????been taped to over size.

yes
