Could be the cam-chain rattling,Hondas of the 90s would have an automatic tensioner but these are known to jam.Strip,clean and check the spring on the tensioner.You'll probably have a good tensioner somewhere in the hoard.

Hey Harvey love the video is there any way I can get ahold of you I have a couple questions about my four wheeler

The engine could be fine. Get to the oil filter quickly and make sure it’s not backwards. It causes issues on the top end. It will blow up and you will have a bad day. The bike had a few custom parts and it looked like it had been worked on so it is very likely that the oil filter is backwards because it is an easy mistake to be made and it is one of the only ways to kill those engines. The bolt in coffee can is not good and you are very lucky it didn’t blow up. It could have scarred the cylinder and that could be bad so check the cylinder head and the piston because the scarring can cause it to blow up as well. An older man told me he blew up his when he put his oil filter in backwards because it didn’t look wrong. It might not be to late for that tough little engine. It has made it this far and with a little love I think it can make it. Glad you got that leak stopped but check the oil filter because being that the bike has been used and worked on it is likely to have a backwards oil filter. Love the bike Harvey! Nice video!

make sure your oil pump is pumping oil my 250 beartracker has this issue and it makes plenty of topend noises it probably means your cam and lifters are worn slap flat

Sounds like a rocker making that noise. Just pray it isn't the rod. I'd be real concerned about that motor considering it USED to piss oil, there's a chance that motor was run real low or empty on oil. The bike itself does look very nice

Don Johnson Running air cooled engines low on oil for extended periods is an eventual killer. And I mean it’s not totally empty,but at the add mark on the stick all the time because of a leak like that. Top end is the first to get starved , look around at the chain and tensioners and cam/valvetrain, sounded like it’s the top end to me.

@@MrTheHillfolk yes sir, I think the least durable part and first to fail would be your scrubber ring as it's just brass or bronze and youd see bad smoking.

I got a 86 atc 200 it leaks oil. Not too bad but it leaks a little. Probably cause my oil is overfilled

No not anti seize anti seize has metal in it. It’s in the engine now.
